Today the consensus seems to say the key to success is to not work hard but to work smart.

What's your favorite "working smart tip" you can share with the Warriors?

For example, one that works for me is to avoid information overload and spreading yourself to thin by focusing on a specific niche.

    Make a list of the things that need to get done.
    Work on them one at a time.
    Finish the most important, mark it done, and go to the next most important.
    Review the list periodically to see if priorities need to change.
    Delete anything that is OBE (Overcome By Events) and no longer useful.

    Rinse and repeat...

    I basically just create a to do list of what I want to do for the day and just cross things off one at a time.

    Staying focused on one thing at a time is important. One of the biggest illusions about working online is doing a whole bunch of different things, thinking you are getting alot done when you're actually not. I learned this from experience.

    You know when you have a BRAND NEW IDEA! And the feeling and RUSH you get from it and you think to yourself I MUST DO THIS!

    Well most people give up because they deem it won't be worth all the effort, it's going to take to long and it might not work anyway.

    So if I get a new idea, you can bet your backside that I'm going to get it DONE by constantly reminding myself of what a good idea it is. I constantly fuel myself back up with all that excitement the idea started out with and CONSTANTLY work new ideas into it to keep it fresh!

    Don't lose faith. Don't give up. If it doesn't work out at the end, at least you proved your determination to your idea and at LEAST you have come away learning so many more lessons than you would have if you had just fallen at the first post.
