I'm setting up my business where I have an automatic monthly payment services and want to make this easier for me and the customer to send payments. If you use a service similiar to Aweber and Hostgator you know that they automatically DEBIT money from your account every month.

WHERE CAN YOU GET ONE OF THESE FOR YOURSELF?

Thanks Warriors,

What about using Paypal's recurring payments feature?

Can anybody tell me how this works? Is anybody currently using this? How can I make this seemless to my business owners on my website...something like logging into your Aweber or Hostgator account and logging in to put their credit card? How has this been working for you?

      Thoughts?

        Log into your paypal...

Then click on the tab that says "Merchant Services"

You should have a choice of a Buy Now, Add To Cart, Subscription, and Virtual Terminal buttons to customize...

I could be wrong but I'm sure this is how you can create a subscription button for your customers on Paypal.

Hope this helps...and best of luck to you...

Also once you've created the button and integrated it into your site, Paypal does the rest after the customer subscribes and pays for the first month's service.

Yep. I am. It works like a charm. Make sure you get their free perl script. It all integrates with your site and works like magic.

Paypal is a good option and works fine. If you are wanting to run it through your merchant account you need some kind of shopping cart system like Shopping Cart Software and Ecommerce Software

Then users can signup from your site and your shopping cart will auto charge customers based on specific details that you setup. You can also program some logic to your site for the user to "add funds" that notifies you to manually process $x amount to their card.

With paypal they would have to go through a new order process, with your own merchant acct you can let them add funds and then have it pending till you manually charge.

I use aMember for the membership area and it integrates with PayPal. It provides a lot of great features (I think you were referring to aMember instead of aweber, right)

I also use aWeber (autoresponder to build my list) and it also plugs into aMember to get the contact details of your members.

I know it sounds confusing... similar names - different services.

No...I do mean Aweber. I'm looking for an automatica credit card solution...that allows you to recharge clients month after month. If you have Aweber...you know what I mean...as if you log into your account....you can add or take our your existing credit card information.

Hope this clarifies -- this account is set up to charge you month after month !
