ULTRA Micro Niche to Authority Site???

Guys,

I'm hoping someone can answer this.
  • I have 10 sites that are all based on ultra micro niches.
  • They are based on 2500 global searches a month.
  • They all have exact domain names.
  • Each site is over 1 year old now.
  • All pages in google, all ranking on page one.
  • Sub pages getting hits as well.
  • Sites at postion 1 in google get $1 a day.
So if my 2500 seach a month keyword was "black tiny coffee cups" i would own "blacktinycoffeecups.com"

My question is.. Can these sites be turned in authority sites? OR is the starting niche too small.

Could "blacktinycoffeecups.com" be turned into an authority site on coffee? OR if not an authority -- at least a large site with 100 pages.

Can a page with 50k searches a month get into googles listings on a site with such a "spammy(?)" low level niche subject.

OR should i really start my "authority/large site empire" with domains targeting 50-60k searches a month???

The only reason i'm concidering using my low-level-niche sites, is they are already in google, and have a years worth of age and backlinks.

Thanks for reading -- thanks for advice.

Cheers.

Yep, coffee might be a leap too far. But tinycoffeecups or coffeecups might not be. Still, if I were you, I'd start again with coffee.com and then lend weight to your micro sites from there.....good luck! All the very best, Allen

    Hey there guest,

It all depends on the root domain keyword.

In this case, yours sound really ultra nichy.

You'd have to find all the types of black tiny coffee cups in the world if you want to expand into an authority site.

    But...

You can always write whatever you want (and not bother about keyword search counts at all) and get traffic from long tails or readership (visitors clicking to other pages).

    For example...

(and the list goes on and on and on)

Bonus: And I don't see why you cannot write on the broader subjects of coffee cups AND coffee as well.

You get the idea. Think blog.

Although I have never gone this route and done it.

But this is one practical way to do it.

You're still providing value to your visitors and it's not spammy.
