Once I read an interesting post in this forum about writing a true disclaimer in our ebook about internet marketing, stating everything exactly as it is.
This post gave me the inspiration to write the following disclaimer, as if I was an internet marketer. (My main field is not internet marketing; but I’m a business owner. This means that in one way or another, I’m an internet marketer too.)
How to Make Money Online
‘Making money online is very easy.
However, you have to work very hard.
You are going to lose all your money and become frustrated in the end.
However, you’ll learn your lessons, and begin again.
These lessons won’t help you succeed.
However, you’ll avoid repeating silly mistakes.
Someday you may find something good.
However, it won’t last for long’.
Today I had another inspiration, and this is why I want to continue writing this disclaimer, by adding more howevers:
‘You can make a lot of money by promoting other people’s products as an affiliate.
However, your competitors are stronger than you, and you won’t manage to reach your customers.
This means that you have to do something else.
However, if you’ll try to be original online, you won’t make any sale.
You must follow the already known marketing strategies if you want to succeed.
However, they are not as effective as they used to be when the internet was something new.
You have to discover new ways to grab your customers’ attention.
However, you’ll have to spend a lot of money promoting your products.
You may spend a lot of money, but sell only one or two items after all your expenses and personal work.
However, even after making only one or two miserable sales, you’ll still have to share the money you’ll make with the product owner.
You’ll also have to wait a month for receiving your affiliate check.
However, you can create your own products, and keep all the money of all sales for yourself.
You can also find many affiliates who will promote your products for you, and make more money this way.
However, you’ll have to pay them commissions, what means that your affiliates will make more money than you when selling your products.
Never mind; at least you’ll manage to sell your products and have some profit.
However, who told you that you’ll find affiliates who will care about promoting products that no one else is promoting online?
You’ll have a very hard time trying to recruit affiliates.
However, you can find JV partners that will promote your products, if you’ll also promote theirs.
This solution is very good if you’ll find powerful JV partners.
However, who told that you’ll find business owners who will accept a JV partnership with you and will promote your products online?
Named internet marketers will never care about your existence.
However, you can find many other internet marketers who may gladly accept a JV partnership with you because they are beginning now.
You'll have to trust them even without knowing who they really are or what kind of products they sell, and believe that they will really promote your products while you’ll work promoting theirs.
However, there is no guarantee that they will really be loyal to your agreement and really promote your products to their email list.
You need more solutions.
However, everything is complicated, expensive, time consuming, and depends on a lot of work’.
