I'm just wondering is it ok if I use the same article and post it to 10 other blog sites?

Any feedback? Thanks

Yes, you can do that. However, the site with the most authority in Google's eyes for a particular search term will outrank the others, often, but not always, by a considerable margin.

For example, go Google for the lyrics of a Bob Dylan song. You'll find that Bob Dylan's personal site where he has published his lyrics comes up first. It is then followed by lyrics sites that have age and links authority. If you were to start a brand new with song lyrics today you would be buried on page 89 of results, at least.

Go ahead, this is totally allowed since the 10 blogs are on different domains

I have used content on many sites without issue. Make sure you offer lots of content on the right keywords and you'll do fine.

  • yes, but is it worth your time? probably not,

google usually hides results "click here to see similar results" for pages that are too similar or won't index them at all

    Lydia,
If you are asking whether you can post 1 article at multiple blog sites, the answer is Yes.
But, if you are asking whether you should or not, the answer would be No.
Since, when you submit to any particular website, it atleast asks you your name. If you are keeping the same name on all your submissions, it would give our wrong signals to readers and followers.
Also, people could term your articles as spam.

    Hi Lydia,

Yes, you can do this . . . and since they are all different domains, Google will just add this article along with the other ranking criteria they use. I assume you will have lots of other content on the various sites . . .

This is actually a good strategy if you are in a micro-niche and want to dominate it. If that is your goal, then you might want to modify the first couple of paragraphs for the benefit of readers who might click on more than one of your sites . . .

    I hope success for you!
