What's your best converting affiliate product?

Hey!

I am looking for something really worthwhile to promote that will bring in a reasonable number of conversions (but is also ethical at the same time). If you don't want to share your golden goose, perhaps there's second or third affiliate product that does fairly well for you in the "conversion" department?

      Yea, I can't see anyone here about to reveal exactly what they are marketing because their competition might jump through the roof.

      What I can tell you though is I've had a lot of success promoting products I have actually used myself and enjoy. I think when you do this, you are genuinely suggesting it to people. If you can target a market that actually want it and you can tell them it is a great product because you have honestly enjoyed it yourself, then you are simply acting as a 'friend' and recommending it to them.

      It works really well for me, and at the same time I am happy knowing others are benefiting from it.

      That's not to say I ONLY promote products I have used, but I've found that the ones that I have used tend to sell well.

      I agree with this I prefer Physical products but I also promote digital products even digi products makes me more money

      Best converting products are:
      Making Money Online niche
      Weight loss
      Abs

      Their you go! these are the best converting products but they are hell of a competition

      hmmm I really would like others opinions on this to but I seriously doubt anybody will be willing to tell there real money makers

      What I did was do tons of test you want believe how often I change advertisements, banners, text ads that's the only way you will ever know

      I have found some success in some products and others really sucked for me and I was mad I wasted my money and time on it. If you dont find what you looking for start testing and you will find that one gold mind ad take care

              I am doing quite well selling a very niche product in the pets category (It's not what you think).

              Product is converting at approx 50% (earnings are roughly $800 p/month) on total auto pilot. All organic traffic. Haven't touched my site in over 12 months.

    I do not think half the people in here would just simply give stuff away like this.

      Sales conversion-rates among affiliates typically vary hugely for the same products. The major determinant is usually how the product was pre-sold by the affiliate.

    Well, if you are in internet marketing niche then you definitely want to promote Lee McIntyre's (200% commissions + lifetime lead tarcking!!!), Jason Fladlien (lifetime lead tracking, two tear program), Kim Roach (converts like crazy - 100% commissions)

    Great stuff here. I am looking to promote Lee McIntyre, Jason Fladlien & Kim Roach's stuff but I don't know where to sign up for their affiliate program.

    Also when a clickbank item makes a claim along the lines of "coverts 1 in 6" as in the case of Profit Monarch, is it a valid statement?

      It's a statistical average - at best. Keep in mind that an average 47% of all statistics are just made up figures.

          By some estimates, about 93% of the time they do, but the variance can vary depending on the normal distribution conversion average. Factoring in the standard deviation will most likely be a major factor on the magnitude of the curve.

          What this means is the mean may deviate by a curve factor at variance with the normal standard deviation distribution curve, and would at any rate certainly be a significant factor to be considered for evaluation of the refund rate factored in with the overall rate of refunds.

        I can't believe that people still use traffic exchanges, well I can because when i see someone send 1000 click to my products and not make a sale then they are using a traffic exchange!


        You can sell any product out there if you do your research and target the right people with the right presell.

        Find your crowd then find a product that suits them not the other way around.

    Trends do well also... look up some of the upcoming holidays and see what you can do with them.

    I had some decent success running a few Easter sites in the last couple of months, of course now it's over but they'll be there next year when Easter comes again.

    I'm also in the process of ranking some sites specifically for Christmas. Sure, Christmas may be far, but it'll be here before we know it. This is the time to set up those sites, let them age and settle in rankings a bit and them BOOM you'll be hit with more sales than you may have asked for.

    I market a ton of affiliate products along side with my own, so giving you one doesn't create more competition. Dave Miz's Insider Internet Dating product (Google it), converts extremely well for us. While direct linking will work, it converts incredibly well if you pre-sell it with some great content with an autoresponder series whereby the end user gets at least 7 to 10 e-mails in a 2-4 week period.

    Target single men ages 18 - 44 who are LOOKING for specific information online dating and you'll hit a homerun with this bad boy. It's a product that actually works and has a TON of social proof and testimonials, the sales page does a great job of SELLING it for you. But you've got to PRESELL it on your own webpage, blog, and/or autoresponder series.

    Analysis of thousands of products on my own site reveals the following three categories:

    - Fat Loss
    - Online Marketing
    - Dating

    Those are the top three, and that is the approximate order - sometimes online is first as the economy tanks and more people are out of jobs...

    There are, of course, hundreds of niches within those three broad categories. and thousands of products within those - some products suck, others are best sellers...

    You need to do real research or find a site that does that for you (hint) and try to find the best 2 or three products - do a review conduit site and off you go!

      For instance in this thread I've seen one person mention Fat Loss 4 Idiots, and another mentioned Fat Burning Furnace. They're obviously doing well with those products, but I've seen plenty people say they can't get those products to convert for them at all.

      One person might have a 1 in 10 conversion rate for a specific product - another might have a 1 in 200 conversion for the same one.

      Although you do need to have a quality product, conversions often depend on how you promote the product and the type of traffic you send to it.

        Good points - I have a review of Jillian Michaels - at first it was a standard review - usual low traffic because tons of other people were doing it. Then I got the bright idea to find a picture of Jillian when she was fat - it took me awhile to find it because it was not (at the time) widely available as she has done her best to destroy all of those early pictures of herself. But I did find it and posted it - traffic skyrocketed...But...and here is the rub, my conversions only went up a little.

        Why?

        Because I got tons of useless traffic! These were people who just wanted to see what she looked like when she was fat! They did not care about buying exercise products, they probably did not exercise themselves!

        So I learned an important lesson about targeted traffic... More is not necessarily better!

    While you are researching on affiliate programs, i would add that it's more profitable for you if you'd also start developing interests in having your own products. It's not just more profitable, but you'd have more room to better utilize your own traffic as well as leverage off others.
