Correct plan of action?

1) Alright so I've got my keyword targeted domain and hosting.
2) I'm in the process of writing about 9-10 original articles that pertain to my niche and keyword(s). (Written 3 so far)
3) I have a main affiliate product i'm wanting to promote, as well as some secondary ones.
4) I have an ebook already written that I will give away as a freebie on my blog for an opt-in.
5) I'm going to post my informational content (articles) on my blog, and then send them to article directories.
6) I will then look into squidoo and hubpages (need to learn about this).
7) In order to get backlinks, I guess I need to start visiting forums and posting my site.
8) Continue adding 2-3 posts to my blog a week.
9) Hopefully see some results....?
10)Turning to warrior forum to see what else I need to do to maximize my profits

Thanks
Michael

PS. It's not the site thats in my signature, in case people were wondering. Thats more of just a recreational passion.

Yes, that look's about right but don't be afraid to fail! There's plenty of room for trial and error.

I think you should also include different ways of gaining backlinks for your website including directory submissions, article submissions, forum postings etc. as your website won't get good rankings and value if the website doesn't have enough backlinks.

Join a bunch of other forums, and be sure to add your signature links, and make daily posts. This will build your backlinks, and traffic for free.

You have a pretty good start here Michael. You need to make sure that the sites your posting on your not just going to for there "page rank" but also for the specific "niche" that your targeting... Having a backlink from a PR5 or PR6 site that's actually "Real Estate" site, while your product is "shaving cream," would be EXTREMELY detrimental - you follow me Michael?

You're on track pretty nicely, which I like, I would also make sure you don't forget about "press releases," there are free sites out there and then there are your 24-7pressreleases, and PRweb's of this world (main providers but they are expensive), that will send your press release out to a group of local "pr sites" - this is the only time I would ever approve or allow a "blast/automatic submission," is with the press releases from those sites.

That's about all I have for you my man, just stay focused on your niche, make comments on sites but make sure they are "well thought out" so you get credit from the community and after you've earned some credibility you can start adding your "url" to the bottom of your signature and nobody will be bothered with it... just make sure you don't START OFF doing this, most sites think if your "starting with spam" that's all your going to bring.

I hope all this helps Michael,

Sounds like you're on the right track, Michael. You'll have to be consistent with your blog posts and traffic strategy, but you should see results with the plan you've outlined above. Also, try to drive traffic using video as well. The more sources of traffic you use, the better off you'll be in terms of generating consistent traffic to your blog.
