Also, please don't give me the "watch some videos, and see what it does". I've done that. I mean has anybody used it, what's it like? Is it basically worth the money?

Do you use a mailing software with that site or do you ahve to buy one to send out the mass emails?

Ok so basically from what I can see, you get a list, then you email the list your click bank affiliate link or whatever and an email or an eye catcher, and you get conversion rate,s and then sales. Basically... right? Or what?

dude, how do you make money from a cow?
    You milk it! ))

Same here. You don't make money from adswaps. You make money from the list you get using adswaps.

I see, so in your personal experience, would it be worth it for me to get it?

I hear top marketers say not to make ad swaps. Not sure why they say that. Must be the "you scratch my back and I scratch your's" attitude seems sneaky

I understand. However if I could make up like 4 sales every time I sent out an email with that, I'd be making a lotta money for a kid who is a sophomore in high school. You know?

With ad swap, advertising is usually done through mailing lists.
You will get free advertisement for your product/ website and in return you have to advertise the other publisher on your list as well.

The disadvantage of ad swapping is that people may leave your mailing list to be on another publisher's list and you end up endorsing your competition. However, if you are doing ad swapping to build a list then ad swaps work very well.

If you partake in ad swaps, be sure to keep your freebie list separate from your buyers list. Don't mix and match. Meaning... don't email your buyers list a swipe from a swap. You are hurting yourself if you do that.

Read up on ad swapping before jumping in. Most people do them entirely wrong.

Ok. So basically you have to list your products on your page. Or whatever. And then when you swap your list, your buyers or whatever, go to them as well, and you have to endorse the "Other Person's" Product on your mailing list? And stuff? Haha that's confusing.

Ok After re-reading... so basically, If I give 2000 people to the other person, they give me 2000 in return...

And then I have to mail the person I switched with's Product. And while I do that, the other person does the same thing, but with my product.

But how does the freebie list and the buying list come into play?

The buying list comes from your freebie list. In essense, you recommend products to the new subscribers you get from the adswap, and any buyer is automatically taken out from the freebie list to your buyer list. Its as easy as that.

Oh ok. So then can we always send product or affiliate recommendations to the buyers list any time we want?

      Hi Evil Sniper XV,

      It's not that complicated.

An "ad swap" means the other list owner sends your ad to his list, in exchange you send his ad to your list. You are swapping ad broadcasts, not lists or list members.

Usually you need a list to start. You can often pay instead of swap an ad to begin building your list if you don't have one.

      1. You decide to do an ad swap with another list owner
      2. You agree on a date to do the ad swap
      3. You send him the ad (email) you want him to send to his list
      4. He sends you an ad for you to send to your list
      5. On the agreed date, you email his ad to your list and he sends your ad to his list
      6. Ideally his list will click the link in your email and opt-in at the page you send them to.

This is best used when building a list because you can send people clicking on your ad to an opt-in and build your list.

Don't send to your buyers list, they may think it is spam. Send to your freebie list- they haven't bought anything from you yet.

It can be a good way to market your own products, especially if you set up a JV/Affiliate partnership with the other list owner.

Anyway, that is just an overview of how ad swaps work and some ideas on how to use them. As someone noted above, you need to know what you are doing to make them effective, so study up a little before jumping in.

      Mahlon

Edit: Your buyers list has already purchased something from you- so generally you want to avoid spamming them and annoying them.
