    • I feel your pain! I used to go through that myself.

One change I made where I no longer have to worry so much about holidays, seasons, etc. is to focus more on promoting products in desperation niches (weight loss, get ex back, acne, etc.). Those niches thrive no matter what time of year it is. Weight loss does slightly decrease during the winter months, but it's never that much of a big difference (at least for me it isn't)... And when January rolls around... cha ching!

  • pwned by the easter bunny

Business will pick up tomorrow when life returns to normal.

  • Ummm... Are you really that upset over a single holiday of lower earnings? Most businesses are closed or have greatly reduced earnings over holidays like Easter; its just business as usual. Very few businesses make exactly the same amounts of money every day of the week either, so don't worry about weekends. This kinda just sounds like business as usual.

    • I know what you mean and thanks for you comment its just as i said above i did a crazy thing with scrapebox which has really cost me and afew of my sites just arnt ranking quick enough AND.... I`m going full time IM end of next month i just feel abit under pressure right now and the holidays started last Friday and since then my sales are down down i just need everyday to be a good day right now lol
  • Scrooge! HA! Just kidding. At least you don't have to pay your employees time and a half, or give them the day off with pay! I understand where you are coming from, making the leap to do IM full time is a scary thing to do. You lie awake at night wondering if the offers will go, if you'll get outranked by a competing website in google or any number of things that can and will go wrong. However, it seems like you have you stuff together. You are making money in multiple niches. Good luck.

  • Well, these holidays caused late delivery of articles, but brought record high sales. I vote for the holidays.

  • AdSense revenue was down a bit for me this weekend, but today, so far, it seems to be business as usual.

Which is strange, but very welcome, as I normally expect revenue to drop on bank holidays and such, too - especially when the weather is good, since a lot of people actually seem eager to get off their backsides and head out somewhere.

I love holidays and weekends and most every other day. The reason I got into working for myself is to be able to take off and enjoy whatever day I want to... to make my own schedule... work when I want and take off when I want to.

Some things are more important than making money online ... like holidays with your family, for one. Your business should be able to accommodate those occasions. Sit back, relax and take those days off yourself. Do something else.

    • Of course your right but i love what i do and like i say i`m full time next month and i`m off to see my cousin in thailand and along with my laptop i`ll be there about 3 months. But i still hate the drop in income i get holidays and weekend ALOT !
  • Spend time with your family. Can't all be about the money you know. I just spent three days with my folks, and am so relaxed and happy. Recharge bro!

    • Normally i could relax but i`m just feeling pushed right now what with me finishing my other work end of next month and i just need to focus hard right now !
  • Holidays are great for sales if you have a list and can run a holiday special.

I usually make a bunch of money right before the holiday and take the next few days off to enjoy it.

    Love this quote...
  • Turn it into a positive: Use holiday promotions to generate additional income in the days and weeks leading up to said holiday.
  • haha, I second this.

I personally have this economical theory about what people do during a holiday. They spend......
  • yeah i mean how dare people have a break "working jobs they hate, so they can buy **** they dont need"

    name that movie?

  • There was a similar post to this earlier about traffic dropping. I commented there as well that I also saw a drop, but I still made about $140 on Sunday, so can't really complain.

I guess it depends what niche you are in.
  • promoting more product! (:
  • I definitely notice this. I will get way lower clicks on weekends than I do on weekdays. Even though I have to go to school I don't care because I know I'm making some cash.
