Want to Link directly to clickbank product ( searched, this question is different)

Hi,

I want to link to the DSP to go directly to their order page using my affiliate link.

The link to their order page is:

hxxp://9.thedsp.pay.clickbank.net/?cbfid=838&cbskin=113&vtid=BurnFatg

I have searched and because their order page has the "?cbfid=838&cbskin=113&vtid=BurnFatg" I cannot seam to figure out how to link to the order page by ways I have read because it has its own image skin it seems.

Normally there is clickbank.net/sell.cgi?YOURID_MERCHANTID/ProductNumber/ProductName

That simply does not work for the DSP or maybe I cannot figure it out.

Please help me by writing a link here with something like AFFILIATEIDHERE with the rest of the link so that it shows up correctly--WITH the skin.

You can see their link here without the skin:

hxxp://9.thedsp.pay.clickbank.net/

Here is the link WITH the skin:

hxxp://9.thedsp.pay.clickbank.net/?cbfid=838&cbskin=113&vtid=BurnFatg

I appreciate your help!

One is only allowed to do this with the permission of the vendor, Andrew (for understandable reasons, of course). You could perhaps ask the vendor this question, while obtaining his permission?

You realise that you won't be setting an affiliate cookie on your prospective customers' computers, if you choose to market it in this way? You'll earn an affiliate commission only on the "immediates". (For me, that would rule it out quite categorically).

This should work for you but as Alexa mentioned, it won't set a cookie so if the
customer returns to buy later and doesn't use your link, you won't get the sale.

    HTML Code:
    http://clickbank.net/sell.cgi?YOURAFFID_thedsp/9/BurnFatg&cbskin=113
Just remember to change YOURAFFID to your affiliate id and remember the
link probably will not work properly unless you are using a valid Clickbank ID.

Also if you do this your buyer won't go through his upsell flow. His upsell flow is: ?cbfid=838

You should reach out to the vendor first.

I didn't include that because I wasn't sure what the cbfid was for. In that case the link would be:

      HTML Code:
      http://clickbank.net/sell.cgi?YOURAFFID_thedsp/9/BurnFatg&cbskin=113&cbfid=838
Also Bill, what is the vtid value for?

I just had a quick search and found that vtid is just a vendor tracking id. So I was right to take that out of the link - it's for the vendor, not the affiliate. And you're right, the cbfid is the Clickbank flow ID so that should be left in the link as above.

    Cool.
