I am developing some PLR packs, and I have a question.

When choosing article topics, is there an interest in historical information on a subject? Maybe as a background article? First in a series?

Just wondering if this is a good rule of thumb.

  • to me it doesn't matter what the articles are as long as they use the keyword bunches of times with as many different phrases as possible, i do seo though

however, if someone is using them for an autoresponder sequence, then they probably care less about keywords and more about history, basics, like you mention

depends on the buyers intent with the articles, could be many things imho

Hi, I have been a PLR articles buyer for long, and I would suggest that you bring history only where it is sure to make the reader think 'aha'. If its just for giving a complete picture, it may not be needed. You can get straight to the point. If you keep your PLR articles crisp, it will be good. Most of them are sand-bagged just to reach word count. Good luck!

With 100+ sites, I see 80% pages indexed in Google, but only 20% in Yahoo and 10% in MSN Bing. Despite spending billions, Yahoo/MSN can't even index web pages well yet. Do you see opportunity?

History/basics of the articles would probably work for you the best, I'm not incredibly familiar with PLR however.

I'd suggest digging into the niche a bit to see what people in it want to hear about. I know that typically if you are writing a book, you would include historical information as a background. Is it necessary for PLR? I don't think so, but you certainly can include it if you want.
