How do I monitize crazy traffic on a blogspot?

Hi
I started a blogspot hardly a month ago and I am getting crazy traffic of about 50-100 unique visitors a day. The problem is the niche is on article marketing I don't have an idea yet on how to monetize it  before Google catches up with me. Any ideas? PS I HATE ADSENSE WITH A PASSION

Offer reviews on ebooks in the article marketing niche or products to assist writers or partner up with a writer and get them leads for a %.

You could try some affiliate programs, like CJ or CB.

"Before Google catches up with you" is right, I'm afraid. :p

Does it have to stay on Blogspot? No way to move it elsewhere, where that wouldn't be a problem? I suppose not - you'd have thought of this, if it were possible.

Well, you need to find "article marketing products" you can promote as an affiliate. Maybe by looking at places like PayDotCom, Click2sell, E-Junkie, and so on? (They may not be very good products, though: this is the problem - most of what I've seen has been pretty seriously misguided in its advice).

Preferably not Clickbank ones, for the obvious reason that some article marketers will be Clickbank affiliates already, and they'll buy it through their own hoplinks rather than through yours. This (or its equivalent) may be an issue elsewhere, too, though perhaps not to quite the same extent? It's just a "potential problem with the niche".

Why do you hate Adsense so much?

I can recommend a couple of programs NOT to use - Kontera (doesn't pay squat) and Chitika (its pay out is much lower than adsense)

Other than that I'd recommend going to CB or CJ (CJ has much better products) and do whatever possible to find products which relate to your niche.

Maybe have an ad rotator on there so its not the exact same ads every time.

    Joe, get an autoresponder.

Ask the people from your list to subscribe to your mailing list for more tips and advice.

From the emails, you can soft sell products.

    1. You capture the unique targeted visitors to your site without affecting the TOS of blogspot.com

    2. You get to email your subscribers various offers, coupled with your article writing skills, soft sell to them.

    3. Your list will be you forever until they unsubscribe, even if your blogspot is taken down, you will still have your list with you.

Even though Aweber might be ex, go ahead. Go find other cheaper alternatives or whatever, just do it.

    Regards,
    Edz

  • Have you looked for a product on clickbank to sell. Information is always popular because if it is done correctly it really helps people out. I'm sure there must be a 'how to' guide on article marketing somewhere you can promote.

You can try to sell space for banners directly from your blog or post your ads offer on niche sites.

Not sure but I recommend having an opt-in form until you figure it out. Test, and then when you figure it out you will know what to do to monitize, and you'll have a bunch of opt-ins in the process. Good luck...

  • wow... congrats on a successful blog.

I'd personally keep the charisma of what you are currently doing and not turn it into an affiliate site with links everywhere. Keep it as a helpful and informative blog.

    Products to promote?

1.) Have a look on affiliate networks and think what your visitors would really be interested in

2.) Have a look at your content that currently exists and think is it relevent to the content already on the page

If you can find some offers that fulfill both of the above, then the best tactic for on site advertisement is not to use banner ads. Instead, include a text link at the bottom of one of your posts/articles subtley letting people know about something.

The main principle is to make the link and the external website seem like an extension to the article you have written.

If you make the link seem like a highly relevent extension to the blog post, instead of looking like an advert, it'll get more clicks.

    An example might be:

    Article marketing and Submissions

It's taken me far too long to submit all my articles, I can't believe it. Obviously, as Internet marketers yourself, you are aware of article marketing. For those who aren't, here is a little run through.

If you submit content in the form of 500 word articles to directories such as Ezinearticles.com, you can get traffic from their website. It's a form of parasite marketing where you feed off the traffic from one site to get it to yours.

The problem is, when you are trying to use it to give your website some back links it can be an absolute pain in the neck having to register to 100s of directories.

Registering to all of them takes a while, but I suppose as soon as that is done, I can use my article submitter I downloaded to help push things along.

If you need one, why not try the article submitter I'm using. It can be found at http://www.SuperDuperFakeArticleSubm...akeWebsite.com.
It seems fairly decent and does the job, which is good enough for me. I'll let you guys and girls in on updates of my progress in my next post.

It's a poor example, but you get the idea. The link at the end of this made up post seems like it is part of the post itself and isn't a seperate advertisement.

If you can blend in affiliate links and make them look like they are part of the post, instead of adverts, then they'll be clicked on a heck of a lot more.

    Hope it helps

    Daniel

You could possibly create a product for sale, but the best thing is to start building your list and then market to the list.

Depending on the niche, you may be able to create a number of products to offer to your list.

Build an email list by giving them a free offer then try selling them CB products on article marketing such as SEO Linkvine or similar.

    Good luck.

p.s you could also just add the banners and links to such sites as unique article wizard and so on.

If just one article you have written is already attracting a nice number of visitors, why not take that article further, write a more detailed report on article marketing and sell it for just a few dollars?

This will then provide you with a small income, plus the foundation of a mailing list comprised of people you can market further reports to later.

      BINGO!

Create your own product and sell it while the getting is good! Okay, that was a little country, but who cares!

Anyhow, you've tapped into a market segment that will always have buyers, so you should definitely take advantage of it. Not only that, but if you build a list with those buyers, you can market to them again and again. And you know what they say about repeat buyers...they will make you the bulk of your money.

      Way to go!

Google Adsense works well on Blogspot for me, as I am sure it will for you. If you choose Clickbank, select a limited amount of products to market. Make sure these products are related to your niche, too.

seriously you need to build a list, if you are not doing this, then get to work and do this asap.

You will really start to see how this pays off down the track.

    1) create a nice relationship with them.

    2) give them lots of cool freebies.

    3) treat them like your best friend.

They are then more likely to buy off you when the time arises.
