Guys,

After making my first site i´m going to make my 2nd site and also switch niche, because i believe diversity its a way to minimize risks, so i think on something many people thinks about... what niche will i pick?? then i was wondering about it and got the conclusion about 2 niches that are living for centuries and probably in IM will work also...

1) Gambling / betting - I was thinking on Casinos Affiliated products. Well i know that poker sites have been closed recently but i believe the market is Huge so it´s one option.

2) SEX sites - During ages and ages sex has been lying around for everyone who wants it and studies shows that is one of the sectors that earn more...

So my Question is are these 2 niches easy to start and it´s easy to be profitable. probably the XXX sites are not very easy to get traffic since many of the resources that allow us to promote it are blocking these kind of contents.

So having in mind that i´m not the first one thinking about these 2 niches what do you think shall i try about it or is too much populated to start from the scratch now?

Thanks in advance,
Morg.

They are very popular topics however keep in mind that sites of that nature are much harder to promote as many advertising platforms and social media sites, etc won't allow promotion of any sites of that kind. If you want to go the SEO route then there is also a huge amount of competition for both niches.

    Well, that's an unusual approach.

Why not sell drugs from the start? Why IM?

    1. I think you shouldn't diversify just yet. Unless you have built a profitable business in one niche, don't jump into another.
    2. You have to know what part you want to take in XXX or gambling. If you don't have a solid financial backup, don't try to get into popular niches. You can earn, but it will probably be just a few bucks.

It's usually better to spend your time becoming an authroity in one niche than trying to promote sites in multiple niches.

Well i understand about the niches, not mixing but my site about reviewing Movies & TV Softwares so i believe i can build another of the same subject. It will became too much redundant.

If I were you, I would make sure your first business was profitable first before moving on to something else. What you are about to do is a fatal error and can cause you to fall flat on your face.

It's always best to see one business through all the way to completion before starting another one. Just giving my two cents...

Most people are advising you to stick with your first niche and make it profitable. It's solid advice because if you don't you may become distracted along the way and end up with multiple scattered projects.

Also the niches you referenced in you post are certainly evergreen, but highly competitive and difficult to market.

Getting a website built is really only putting yourself on the ground floor, there's still a lot of work to be done! I will say this though, if you build a second site in a different niche (I recommend you research out a micro niche) you could market both at the same time. If one of them proves much stronger you could commit more effort to that one. Sort of a split test approach - it allows you to switch from site building to marketing mode and have more than one iron in the fire!

    Best of luck.

I think you should try to find success with your first niche before branching off like that. You're more likely to meet failure if you move around too much.
