Be Real And Set Up Realistic Goals!
When I entered the IM world, I was getting slapped from left to right with products claiming they will make me $500/day without doing anything. And I must admint like learning how to play poker I paid my share of learning fees. But then I sat down and asked myself what I wanted from IM and I came to this conclusion.
IM is fun it's something that always changes and there are new ways to making money all the time what you need to do is being realistic and not get ahead of yourself and only wanting those $500/days. Heck when I made $50/day I was walking on clouths because I reached a goal I had set for myself.
My goal was to make to make $4500 a month and it still is every month, if I reach that number I know this month was a succes.
Why $4500?
Being rich for me doesn't mean being able to buy fast card, designer clothes and all that it's a plus I won't deny that but it's not what drives me to make money. You know what the greatest luxury is being able to pay your bills on time without having to worry, going to the grocery story and not having to count everything you buy in advance that's what being rich to me means.
I made a list:
$1500 for my apartment
$1000 other expenses (car, medical, internet, phone bill)
$1000 on food (I know this is a bit much)
$1000 on the rest (clothes, going out, vacation, having a girlfriend isn't cheap you know
)As you can see some parts don't need that amount of money I really don't need $1000 for food but it's my buffer just in case. To reach this goal I had to be making $150/days and it took hard work with ups and downs. Did I stop when I reached that goal? No I did not when I reached that with the things that I had learned I had some extra funds to start learning about others aspects of IM. For example at the moment I'm learning how to find my way in eBay, I'm a newbie all over again but it's just another goal that I want to conquer.
I just want to say to the newbies don't look at the big numbers, if someone knows a way to make $5$10$20/day just go for it scale it up you never know what might happen.
