Moving FB fans from 1 acct to another

I just tool over as admin for a facebook account for a local business, that is sure to grow quite quickly over the next few weeks. The original person that set up the account misspelled the name in the URL. I know this cannot be changed so we are creating a new page, is there a best way to invite all of the current people (over 1000) to this new page?
I am changing the profile pic to say something about 'Like our New facebook page' and posting updates throughout the day about the change.
Any other tips or easier ways to do this?

    Yes, go to the page Settings > Marketing > Send an Update .. to all of your page fans telling them that you're changing the page to new. And you can actually send them 2-3 Updates so to make sure everyone's on the new page.

    In addition, you could use "Facebook Blaster Pro" software to actually extract the list of all your page fan's FB Id's and then send an Inbox FB Msg to all of them via that FB Blaster software with One Click, telling them you're moving to new page.

    Interestingly, unlike the traditional email, Facebook's Inbox has an open rate of 98% !!!

    Plus, you can also get the "Facebook Blaster Pro" from the Torrentz for free.
