Are factual articles much more profitable than opinionated articles?

I often times write about things based on 'how I see it' rather than proven facts.

Do you see much value in other opinions? Profit wise, its probably not as beneficial inside of an article.

If I'm writing an opinionated article, I try to pursue popular topics such as aging, health, music, etc. I wrote this Hub Page in response to a question on hub pages last night, titled "Does age reflect our wisdom?"

My traffic on hub pages has taken a big spike over the last month. I read in an official blog post on hub pages yesterday that the more hubs you write, the more exposure you'll get to your hubs overall. This same logic probably applies to other networks where your writings are linked to a profile. So this should be a reason for all of us article writers to keep at it.

I am not sure what you mean by this, but opinionated articles can easily gain a lot of views especially when there is a touch of controversy or when your article is taking one side versus the other.

    Politics: Republican vs Democrat
    Computer: Mac vs PC
    Smart Phone: Apple vs Android

The list is almost endless. I hope you get my point.

There are millions of articles available online so you need to voice your own opinion as much as you can rather than always being factual. Of course depending on the topic, factual articles have their place.

It really depends on the niche and what you're doing. For example, if your niche was fitness, then you'd probably be better off with factual articles. If your niche is, say, IM, then you might be better off with opinionated ones. (Although I tend to ignore these. I really only pay attention to data.)

Get your facts first, then you can distort them as you please.
