Im new to this forum and i have less knowledge about IT, could anyone help me to understand what is Ping?

can anyone help me conduct SEO via online? can i do it for myself?

        Let me google that for you

        all in all, its about one site linking to another, that's all. telling the search bots that crawl one site, to visit all the links on the page...

        pings are just done in multiple's, ie... when your blog pings pingomatic, it links up to other sites that put your link out there, and since these sites get crawled a lot, the bots will visit your link from these sites.
