Question About Hosting...

Hey everyone...

I just am finishing up a WSO and I recorded the entire thing as a 1 hour long video.

It's 100MB, and my web hosting only allows a 50MB upload. Is there any way to get around this?

If I used a regular FTP account would that let me upload?

Thanks!

Just get an account with amazon s3 .... you can upload as much data as you like there... they are fast and super cheap...

I have been using them for years and i have GB's of info on their servers...

Get Virtual Dub , Google it then get a Video codec. Use Divx codec , google divex codec and I bet you it will be 10 Mb's. Send me the link to it and I'll compress it to 10 Mbs

Sounds like you need to do some compression of the video and you should see the size of your file dramatically change. Even then you could probably drop your resolution lower and then compress to get a lower file size.
