I have seen so many incredible success story / giving back type threads that are hard to find after the fact.

Searching WF for things like success story doesn't give any decent results.

There should be a forum for success stories or something?

Any advice as to where I can find some of the top success stories?

Again I did some searching and haven't been able to find any of these incredible success stories that have been posted here over the years. Anyone know how to find them?

There are hundreds of incredible threads where people have had success and want to share what got them there: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-warriors.html

Can we make a forum or sub-forum for success stories?

Hey Sean, I was thinking about this months ago. Check out the post http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ally-work.html.

Similar discussion, and I finally understood why that doesn't exist. If you find something profitable, you want to keep it to yourself. So most people, other than fake posts, would more than likely be there.

So I find something that makes millionaires, Im not going to share it with you, find it yourself

on a side note: It would be nice to see how most people make their money on here, and too see how many people are just pulling bs.

      Sorry Tyler, you mis-understood.

I meant that I have seen lots of AMAZING success stories where people want give back and explain the steps to success...

But these posts end up off the first page and seem to disappear forever. It would be soooo motivating and inspirational to be able to look through them and see what people are doing to reach success.

It would be an awesome source of content.

There is a great thread in the Member Contest section that has a ton of success stories. But, yes I would love to see a sub forum with success stories. They are definitely a kick in the pants reading them. Especially if like me, you get a bit despondent after a bad week or month.

Ok, I just had to get into this thread... It would take too many pages to expose my own success story in writing, so I'll be brief. (ok, well you got yourself now the keyword "success story" or success stories" when you'll search WF)

I been in IM for a decade online and 2 decades offline before that. Yes, that is correct, I started in IM as a young adult selling vacuum cleaners.

It may sound discouraging to most that it took me so long to achieve success around 2001 and major success in 2005-06 so I'll stop here and only tell my story to those who PM me and not afraid of hearing the truth.

This is exactly what I was looking for but sadly, it hasn't been implemented into the forums.

Not sure a forum section would be a good idea - it would be too tempting for idiots to post false stuff to look good and trick others into thinking they're worth following.

They already have a place for that: The War Room.

Tons of successful warriors "give back" on there

As to why we don't see more success stories: When you're truly successful, you don't spend your time talking about how successful you are.

I'm sure some warriors could write inspirational stories, but there's no secret to success whether it's online or anywhere.

Here's the meat of most success stories (give or take a little variation):

"I wasn't where I wanted to be. So I created an idea to make money and pursued it. A lot of obstacles followed. I didn't give up and worked my ass off. I learned new techniques to do things more efficiently, and now I'm where I want to be."

But I get what you're saying: It would be much more uplifting if we were all earning money together and talking about how great everything was rather than read about yet another struggling marketer giving up.

The good news is that there is a lot of support and help to be found on this forum - even if we never get a designated 'success story' area.

Your signature line which says help others and success will follows is what i like. If you focus on one thing and keep running after it even though you can't see success with your eyes....then you will definitely get successs.

That's a great summary of a typical success story, Danielle.

While it's nice to read all these "feel good" stories and be inspired by them, nothing is going to truly change unless you take action and implement what you learn.

It seems like some people here are still at their core very skeptical about success on the internet, and constantly look for proof and validation that it exists.

It definitely does exist, but probably not in the way that many envision. It takes innumerable hours of effort, focus and trial and error before you get there, and while it's nice to look at the end result, the process needed to get there usually isn't all that pleasant, especially during the initial start-up phase.

Here is mine, I started Internet Marketing in 2007 with Carbon Copy Pro. Still very active in that Internet Education Company reselling it globally. In April 2008, I created my own Offline Marketing Company for small businesses. In March 2010, a San Diego start up company headhunted and found me. I am now their main consultant for 25+ small to large companies.
There was no get rich quick here...it took lots of work, learning, training and also being very active in this Forum. My 1,000 Post will be tomorrow :-)
