Why? "Wholesale traffic" is a scam. The 1,000,000 visitors you are buying is actually a computer program that creates fake visitors.

The $10 you're paying for 1 million hits may sound like a good idea, but it's worthless. None of them will every buy anything.

some wholesale traffic provider give you auto interface script you can embed in your own site include payment system and ordering system,visitor come to your site and pay for their order,all you need to do is watching your paypal account recieving earning...
by the way ,if you are looking for a good domain for your business. my half finished site:buytraffic.at is planning for sale..

  Well i dont know if every site is scam, the $10 for 1 Million hits i believe in that but i´ve saw quite a few that just send unique traffic for each 24 hours, with geo. localization plus subject ... then the price can be low as 50 bucks for 100k uncategorized traffic to 300-400 bucks for the same traffic but categorized with geo local. (ex. europe, North america, etc... in some case you can even choose the country from where you want the traffic source... is it scam? i dont know.
  
  but getting wholesales is quite difficult and the best sites are quite expensives i think.

You can Google yourself silly but your computer screen will turn blue first. You won't find that kind of information on a forum either! People tell you what they want you to know and I'm telling you what I've heard over the years. The rest is up to you to figure out. Keep asking questions and eventually you'll put the puzzle together.

Real bona fide traffic is controlled by major networks and sold to wholesale traffic/lead exchanges. Traffic is converted into leads that get auctioned off to resellers who sell those leads through affiliates to lead buyers over and over again.

Private labeled affiliates are the "wholesale traffic sellers" you find in the search engines and that traffic rarely converts into buyers. It's only good for keeping your Alexa rank up if you plan on listing your site for sale but it won't help your Google page rank or increase your sales either. If you have a good squeeze page, 1 in 1,000 is about average for opting into your list.

I did a search for wholesale traffic and I found one who pays you to send traffic to them via a script:-
Traffic Seller Script - buy web traffic, resellers sell web traffic at wholesale prices.

But looking for wholesale traffic is a minefield.

there are no such services! it is not efficient from business point of view.. u will spent 3 time more than receive)) therefore if such services do exist - they all are fakes!

I never try on buying traffic except from adwords. I heard that there are guys who sell traffic from expired domain.

half right half wrong all saying above,There is provider selling expired domain traffic,but I can not tell which one is fake which one is real business,you just say that you want to resell traffic.you can resell traffic by joining some of them whatever fake or real

I don't think most of them are scams, per se. I believe that most are sponsored ads you see when you click a link. You know those "skip this ad" button you see on top while you're temporarily redirected to another site?

But still, don't do it. It might sound cheap but they're horribly ineffective. I tried it out with the 5000 visitors package, and I don't believe any of them converted at all. Complete waste of money. Oh well, learn something everyday, especially from the mistakes.

I blew $99 back in the day by a scammer and the traffic was sent by crappy proxy sites. FAKE...

Do not fall for the same dumb ass trap.

An affiliate of mine sent several thousands "clicks" (visits) mainly from China and other Asian places, according to GA. Bots? Real people? - Have no idea.

But there wasn't one single sale and I also banned him as an affiliate...

I purchased 50,000 from toptrafficwholesalers.com...I just checked my google anyalytics and had 0 visitors. Cheap is never good. Save your money and go out to dinner.

I can understand why bulk traffic might seem appealing, but even if those offers are real, wouldn't it be a better idea for long term success to have some kind of knowledge and control over the sources of traffic themselves? It really depends on what you're promoting, but personally I prefer trying to get traffic the old fashioned way and monitor the results to see what works best.

I've tried and tested many 1 cent per click schemes in the past. Some accepting they were "dubious" just for testing, others that cost a little more.
Many of them came advertised on great looking websites with "testimonials" etc.
Back when Google adsense used to offer this sort of value it was seen as the Holy Grail. When internet marketing and affiliates could use PPC traffic effectively. Sionce then many have claimed to do that same. Of the 5 or 6 I've tried over the past 3 years or so
All of them were scams
Love to find one that wasn't - but 6 scams out of 6 suggets anyone looking into this should proceed with real caution,

This can be a big mistake for you and there is a very good chance that you will lose the money that you are about to invest.

If you already bought that traffic, you will see that it was a waste of your time and most importantly, your hard earned MONEY.

As someone who earns his living via selling traffic I can say as long as you use the correct methods and find a reliable honest supplier then this form of traffic can work well for the business owner and the customer... but honesty, customer service, a good supplier / contacts and dedication are the key ingredients here, as for purchasing this type of traffic it may work for you it may not? But its worth a shot just be sure to do your research first before parting with any money as like anything there are alot of scam companies out there... Just become one builder left you with no roof, doesn't mean all will do that good luck!

Don`t do it. Because we have a publisher who tries to sell us this kind of bot traffic.
But no really good network/ advertiser will ever buy bot.

So if you were looking to monetize your site with it - will not work out.
