How to monetize a blog PROPERLY?

Alright it seems like I've confused things and made a big pot of fail. I am not interested in making a dozen blogs to monetize, but rather I want to start with ONE blog and focus on earning good on it to learn and try new methods and such. It just seems that no matter what I've been doing all day I just don't get people to get drawn. The blog is in the signature. It's just a simple design and all. But I'd like some advice and tips on how to earn on it. Because really, currently I am not even making a single dime, which is worse than half a year ago, where I atleast made five dollars.

Edit: Seems my link is not working in my signature, so here it is: http://getaneasyincome.blogspot.com/

I will admit that I skipped right from your title to your link. I didn't look at your site either, but I think that's all I needed to see before saying.... STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING!

Do not put another minute of effort into building somebody else's business! That is exactly what you are doing if you continue to build up a blog on blogspot. Not only are you building their business, but you are also giving them all of the control over yours.

What if you get a huge amount of steady traffic and then they decide to cancel your blog? What if you ever wanted to sell your site? You can't, because you don't own it! You have no control whatsoever!

Instead of building somebody else's business, invest a few bucks in your own domain and hosting.

      The problem there is:
      1. I have no experience in domain hosting
      2. Have no plans on selling any site.
      3. I know a lot of people earn good through blogger.

        1. It is easy to get a domain and hosting. Google it.
        2. That could change one day.
        3. I know a lot of people that DID make good money on blogger and then magically got their blogs taken away.

        Consider these answers.

Lots of ways to monetize blog properly. What you need to do is to :
    1. set the monetization way
    2. do it right way

You can monetize your blog with some methods:
    1. build list -> build relationship -> send offers.
    2. directly send them to an offer (affiliate per sale/ CPA offer)
    3. join CPA lead, lock premium content, get paid per survey completed
    4. adsense/ stuff like that

That's just some ways to monetize your blog's traffic.

I think the 1st method is considered to be the highest paying method of all time by any internet marketers out there, and it takes a bit of further work upfront like setting the email sequences, what materials to send to your list, what offers to send, you have to set how long you want your initial email sequences to send to your subscribers, and other basic stuff in email marketing.

I think that's how it works.
I'm sure it'll very useful to you.

    Hopefully...

    thx

Do people actually earn by using surveygateways to lock good content? The feedback I got on an old blog which had a lot of e-books locked with those got the feedback that people from various of countries can't answer the surveys and have to pay or use a cellphone service to unlock the content.

I think you should go to fiverr.com, post some products/ services that's unique and start to get paid $5 over and over again. That's the fastest way to get paid in your current condition I think.

Please excuse my commenting on the obvious mismatch between saying "I am not even making a single dime" at the same time as wanting to promote something called "Get An Easy Income".

I'm not pointing this out as a way of criticising, to denigrate your attempts or for any other "negative" reason. I think it's the whole point.

The reasons you're not making money mostly rest, directly or indirectly, on the fact that you're promoting something of which you have no experience yourself.

Nowhere is this better illustrated than in the fact that you're using Blogspot to host this fine upstanding blog. That isn't a commercially sound or sensible plan - and most of the readers you want to attract will know that. The fact that you apparently don't know it yourself denies you any possibility of credibility with your potential readers, even if you work on the site a lot and learn how to drive targeted traffic to it. Someone worthy of teaching/informing others about making money online doesn't host their blog at Blogspot. These things matter: they go to plausibility and credibility, and when you're trying to make money online, you just can't ignore that.

Blogspot owns that site, not you - and they can delete it any time they like, or any time anyone "reports" it to them (a competitor, maybe? Such things happen).

This forum is awash with threads started by people who've had their Blogspot niche blogs deleted apparently arbitrarily in the night. There are dozens of these threads. Blogspot's interpretation of their terms of service is idiosyncratic, unreliable and sometimes inexplicable.

One of the commonest mistakes "niche bloggers" make is that they start by teaching other people how to make money, before they have any track-record and experience in doing that, themselves.

In my opinion, you should think seriously about getting out of the MMO niche, and gaining your experience and initial income in a niche in which these things aren't so strikingly relevant.

Paul's perceptive observation in post #3 above says it all. He's not saying that just "to make a funny point". Ignore such comments at your peril.

Not the sort of response to your thread that you wanted to see, I know - sorry.

Err that's merely because I ran a popular political blog. it's not hacker, it's H.A.C.K.E.R which is a society not related to hacking. If I now go to another niche I'm going to go back working on WP so I will use my real name there.

        @ Leviathanos

My post above was not meant to be mean spirited. You are working in a niche where people have already become jaded, skeptical and cynical. Your statement (you made 10$ a day in 2009), combined with your much maligned marketing platform will only cause you ridicule. The acronym H.A.C.K.E.R has a much different and humorously ironical connotation in this niche, which when combined with the whole package, will reduce your credibility to uproarious knee-slapping guffaws.

Well it's not really my problem a person (legally) is only allowed one gmail account per cellphone number. Disbanding a wellappreciated hobby for work would be like killing your children because they take your time.
And just to point out to your first sentence, you should probably read some poetry or philosophy.

No, rather something that will make your vocabulary get in the spirit so you wont have to write "Oh I didn't mean to sound mean spirited". It's all about the building of the sentence one can bring a spirit into a piece of text.

Actually I used to do a good living out of the MMO niche. It's generally that the market has changed a lot since my last work back in 2009. I ran a simple blog that was updated twice a day on WP. Earned about 10$ a day without doing much at all. But now it seems that either the niche is slowly dying because of the overpopulation of people working on it or something. Might just try the computer related niche, as I am a Computer Science graduate after all. Only problem with that is that I would somehow have to find a way to use the gateway as I work for a CPA affiliate since AdSense locked my account after a petty little fellow sabotaged for me.
