    yes, you can.
You can also use clickbank. They have an option of paypal payment. So, buyers will not feel uncomfortable.
    There's a downside, though.
Clickbank is pretty costly. 50 $ initial fee + fees for every item sold.

You can use whatever you want, I think. The Forum isn't involved in the payment processing at all.

The closest to PayPal is probably AlertPay. It has the advantage (like PayPal) that people wanting to pay by credit-card don't need to have, or to open, an account with them, to do so.

Still, there'll be some people without credit-cards who might have been able to use PayPal (because they already have a bank account linked to a PayPal account) but can't easily/quickly use AlertPay.

Clickbank is a different matter - and has its own refund process. Quite apart from their charges (about 9%), they become the retailer, and whether they'd accept a WSO is something you'll have to ask them. My guess is not, because your sales page wouldn't be Clickbank-compliant and it wouldn't be on your own site, but I'm guessing that.

It may also help you to read the WSO rules, though: the idea of a WSO is that you offer at a discount to Warriors something which you're selling elsewhere at a higher price. That's why it's called a "special offer", surely?

Were you asking if you can pay the WSO fee with some other form of payment, or if you can accept payment for the WSO without Paypal?

I'm not sure that's correct - I'd advise the OP to ask the question of the help desk.

It may have changed but in the past Paypal was THE payment option. You could use clickbank or other service that provided options in addition to paypal but not an alternate processor.

I know AlertPay was added to allow people to pay for ads here - don't know if that also applies to accepting payment though.

I'm using Ejunkie on a wso right now, and I don't believe you can use it alone , without a payment acceptance method.

They only process the order, direct it to the payment facilitator and then fulfill the order after the payment acceptor has verified the funds. You still need the payment processor to make the whole transaction work.
