Is there a way for me to make $25 in the next 2 or so hours? I really need $25 for domain and about a month or two of hosting.

    If you need money fast, your best bet is to just sell something or borrow some money. It can take quite a long time to earn money in IM. It's not very steady and secure if you need money fast.

      This is also what I would recommend son. This is where I started and I still earn money from it today. It's not something to make you rich but it will get you $50 to $100 in a hour or so.

      Be warned however to be mindful of what you are doing. Take the time to read and comprehend everything in front of you. I have seen many who lack common sense ruin themselves trying this out.

        $50 to $100 in an hour? That sounds pretty ridiculous. If everybody, without regard to skill sets, just needed a computer and internet to earn $50/hr, people wouldn't be killing themselves trying to make a living doing IM.

          You can make $50-$100 freebie trading. It's a pain, but you can do it with no skill sets at all. Trust me, the freebie trading world is huge. The only reason I know about it is because I bought a wso about it about 6 months ago. I'm a hardcore internet marketer. I have over 60 Clickbank products in every niche you can think of (NO PLR). The freebie trading is not for me. I did it made afew hundred dollars really quick and ditched it. Because to keep it going at a $50 to $100 rate for more then about a day you would have to really start getting creative with prepaid cards etc. It would be a pain. I'm sure for some people it would be worth it. We all see newbies coming on here all the time trying to make quick cash, and get all excited when they even make $50 bucks. For people like this that have no skills I would say freebie trading is the absolute quickest way to make instant money.

          Here's basically what you do.

          This is just an example.

          You sign up for a free offer through the affiliate link of someone that gets paid $50 per signup. That person can instantly confirm that they made a sale through their tracking. Once it is confirmed they will send you $25 or more usually. Do 4 of these an hour and there is your $100 an hour.

          I know for a 100% fact this works. I did it.

          Here's what starts to happen fast. You run out of companies that pay $50 for free signups, and you have to start going for companies that pay that amount but the person has to sign up for a $9.95 trial. So then you have to pay $9.95 to get $25 instant PayPal. It's just keeps going more and more downhill from there. SO basically you can make 2-300 bucks before the offers start to get really bad.

          Also this is the Big downside, you have to keep up with all of the free trails you signed up for before they start charging you. Otherwise you will start losing your profits. I kept up with it in an excel file, but you could just write it on paper.

          I'm sure people have figured out ways to keep this going with different cards and ips and make a couple hundred dollars a day doing this, but that's not for me. I build actual businesses that make money while I sleep.

          Here is what I think. The same people that come in here looking for quick money (a lot probably being teenagers are the same type of people that wouldn't be responsible enough to keep up with cancelling everything on time).

          I mean the original poster is in here asking how to make $25 to buy a domain and hosting. If he is that desperate I would say do some yard work. I mean man the grass is growing like crazy this time of year. Mow a couple yards and easily get your money.

    Do some freelancing and offer your services. Anything - writing, directory submissions, research, just look at the forums and free lance sites to see what people need done.

    You could offer a service even on sites like Fiverr...

    This is probably you're best bet because even though there are many ways to make money from let's say, affiliate marketing, even if you make a sale you may not get paid until a month or two down the road.

    You don't need money to make money, so if you haven't yet made the money to buy a domain etc.. then that's what you need to focus on. Spending money won't make much difference if you haven't yet been able to make money.

    I know that might not be what you want to hear but before you start doing well in IM it's very easy to think that all the hurdles you see before you are the reason, i.e not enough time, not enough money, not enough tools, no jv partners, no systems, etc.. etc..

    But I can tell you from experience that none of those things will make you money like learning to make it for yourself will.

    So if you're feeling like lack of money is what's holding you back - you're probably wrong and once you get some it will be something else.

    Now is the time to bite the bullet and start thinking differently and don't spend any money on your IM business that you didn't make doing IM.

    $25 for a domain and month of hosting? You can get HostGator for the 1st month for only $0.01 and a domain only costs about $8.

    GoDaddy have a promotion on at the moment for $1 domains, not sure if the code is still valid though.

      He only needs about $5. The $1 offer has already expired at Godaddy, but if he isn't picky about which registrar he gets his domain from, I believe that 1&1 has a .com special at $4.99.

      Incidentally, if you need hosting cheap, you can do the 1 cent Hostgator baby plan for the first month...

      Just go to hostgator.com and put random numbers in the URL and it will give you a 404 page and the 1cent offer... The coupon code is 404page or something.

      Note I dont care who you host with and I'm not affiliated in any way... Just an idea.

      edit - also note that the plan comes with a coupon for Adwords credit, so you could use that to drive some initial traffic too. Easy to start out this way.

      What I'd do if I had to start all over and only had $20:

      1. Do the Hostgator thing above
      2. Get the similar offer for the first month $1 at Aweber
      3. Get some kind of free web site creator ... I happen to know PHP so I'd use Netbeans IDE
      4. Make a squeeze page --> to my list (alternately just find one of the millions of free premade squeeze pages out there)
      5. Start sending traffic with my $100 Adwords credit
      6. Start messaging people who know what they're doing and work on a product/JV
      7. Build an autoresponder (FTM) course
      8. Build a sales page for 7

      All of that is cheap to start and you can build a sales page before you have week 2 of your autoresponder course even written.

      (I realize none of that solves your problem for $20 in one hour. In my opinion, the easiest way to get the first $20 is by providing a service. If you can wait longer than an hour, setup a Fiverr gig)

It is literally the only way I know that you can make money online basically immediately. They give you a small little task to do and pay you straight to your paypal when you are done. Lots of the tasks take less then 15 minutes. They will even stay on chat with you while you do it and walk you through step by step.

      3. Sign up for a free user account.

      4. Go to the introductions area and introduce yourself.

      5. Go to the beginners trading post area and look for a big timer to deal with that has a lot of trades already. They will stand out and it will be obvious who to deal with.

      This is a way to get some quick cash, but will dry up very fast. It's nothing you could do long term.

          I've done freebie trading and all of them needed some kind of CC/debit card to sign up, even if they were free trials.

          And be careful with freebie trading, some of those places make it really hard to cancel and I've heard stories of people's CC being billed twice, etc. etc.

          I only had one problem, and I made about a hundred bucks.

            here's the thing - you are 17 so there will be some sites you won't be able to use until you reach 18.

            Learn a valuable lesson now in scheduling time and money management - use this weekend to find a way to make the money you need. It doesn't have to be done online -maybe you have neighbors who need work done and will pay for it tomorrow.

            Then, with the money earned, next weekend you can spend the entire weekend on your new site and start promoting it.

            It gives you a week, too, to be planning your site, choosing a theme, getting some content ready, etc.

    RT you can get hosting from host gator for $0.01 the first month however you will still need to buy a domain. When you get your domain go to host gator as Um1001 said (thank you for this tip).     If you're willing to work-- A LOT-- for $25, check out amazon mechanical turk...
    mturk. Google it. You won't make a living off of it, but it can give you $25... I have made about 15 dollars with it

    Among other things...don't bother with the 5 cents entries, skip to writing articles or something. If you are a fast typist you can make what amounts to a couple dollars an hour... look for the transcription work. Cheers.

    Was there some sudden "epiphany" that you need domain and hosting for IM? And what happens if you will get the dollars only in 4.5 hours?

    So, I decided you don't really need it in 2 hours... so you can come tomorrow and dig my flower beds (I hate doing it) and I will pay you $25.

      You're right. I don't necessarily NEED it in 2 hours but I'm a school student so I have the most free time on weekends. If I don't get a lot done on weekends I never will so I wanted to have the whole sight set up by the end of the weekend.

      This is true - you'll not be able to get immediate cash from any work you do in Fiverr, but I think what the OP is really concerned about is taking action within a very limited timeframe (the weekend), so this might work for him.

      Once he's earned that $25 on Fiverr, surely he can beg or borrow that money from someone else, knowing that he's good for that money?

    The fastest way to earn some quick money is to become a freelance writer for a popular site where people buy articles for their niches.

    If you can write 5 articles in a couple hours (not hard at all) and sell them you should be able to make a quick 20-25$.

      Writing is a serious trade/profession. In some cultures it's considered art.
      In my previous life I used to be a professional who made a living by writing. A very good living because I used to be a high quality pro.

      Later as an editor I had the chance to see hundreds of wannabe skriblers who never made it. They just didn't have the talent, imagination, language skills, class, style...

      Yes, you can fabricate a text... but that doesn't make you even an article writer!

    Craigslist Gigs section was my go to before I had my kids. They are a dime a dozen and pay in cash instantly. Skip Fiverr if you need the cash now. Look in the Members Wanted section to pick up work from fellow Warriors.

    If you want a domain and hosting for a month or two you can get them for free from trialpay.. Trialpay will give you things for free my completing offers. Just complete 2 offers and u will get a domain for a year and hosting for a year!
