Hey, I've recent joined this community and I've had a few threads which have helped in building my knowledge in IM marketing.

I want to do affiliate marketing for either Amazon or ClickBank but at the moment i don't have a domain or hosting. So I'm wondering if i would be better off creating a Hubpages account and releasing articles on that until i have earned enough to buy a domain and hosting. It's not about me not having the money to buy the domain and hosting now its more of me gaining the experience before I invest in a domain and hosting.

If you could please point me in a direction i would be grateful, All feedback is welcomed; if you have any other ideas on what I should/could do please don't hesitate in posting them.

If you need any other information such as age, country to help you direct me to a better affiliate website i will quickly produce that information.

Thanks, B3! ;D

Absolutely, you don't need your own site to get started. I prefer Squidoo over Hubpages though, but I think Clickbank stuff is prohibited there now (I only do Amazon).

I recommend reading up on basics for keyword research and link building and then just take action! There's tons of useful information on this forum, that you can find be searching around a little.

Do you recommend any threads/guides in particular?

Also, is the war room a good investment for a noob? Or should I wait until I have earned enough from the start and purchase it out of my earnings?

Its always good to learn before you invest

Therefore, Squidoo,Hub pages, wordpress blogs and blogspot will be good to start with

You can earn by Amazon and Ebay

As you go on learning more, invest in domains and hosting

There is a lot to learn from this forum and many others too

        thanks

I would use the free hosting at Free Hosting, Paid Hosting, Reseller Services & VPS Servers : Byet Internet (it's well established, reliable, high quality and they don't put any advertising on your site: you can install Wordpress or whatever you want there). And you can buy a domain name for $1 (a .info domain-name from GoDaddy - they're no worse for SEO than a .com domain-name).

Hardly any "investment" needed to start professionally instead of on a non-secure site you don't own yourself.

Thanks, I will almost certainly get a domain and that free hosting!

Should I buy War Room membership now, or should I wait until i'm less of a 'noob' OR should I buy it now because I'm a 'noob'?

The war room is a wealth of information. It is worth every penny if you use it. There is alot of pricless info there. It may help you deciede what direction you want to go in first.

Welcome to IM! You can always start with something free. However the old saying, you need money to make money I think still applies here. I'm not saying you will make millions from buying a domain name and hosting, but it would be an ok start. Your own domain and hosting are a lot more flexible and you can just do more with it. However some testing before investing never hurt anybody
