$1000 to invest. Want to outsource.

Hi all,

Last month I created a micro niche site for an insurance related keyword. I already have a handful off backlinking tools, keyword research tools etc, but I want to try outsourcing to see what ROI it has.

The micro niche site is currently dancing between SERP 50 and 101. It changes daily.

I've already backlinked a little with high quality blog comments, some web 2.0 properties and a couple of articles. But what I want to do now is hit the first page.

The keyword has around 25,000 searches a month. It's not very competitive. It's a new area in the insurance niche and it's not one that's really well known, and people rarely look for this type of insurance when compared to houses, cars etc.

How should I go about outsourcing and what outsourcing would you invest in to move upwards?

This is my first post so HIIII

  • I've recently discovered Odesk. It looks like a great place to outsource stuff. I'm still looking for quality candidates, but it looks like the best way to build up a virtual team from what I can see.

I agree, Odesk is a good way to go for a decent priced job. Just make sure you get somebody that has been around for at least 20 hours.

If I understand correctly you are actually asking WHAT to invest in? right?
1000$ is a very nice budget. I would have outsourced the following services:
    * Find a good SEO expert to analyze your site
    * Backlinks - buy some high rating backlinks offers from the WSO forum, Fiverr and others (do not invest too much here, you can find good cheap offers)
    * Buy articles - 20-40 will do for a start. find someone to submit them to good articles directories (definitely Ezinearticles)
    * Pay 300$ and submit to the Yahoo! directory - proved to be very efficient mainly because not everyone can afford it
    * Advertize in Google Adwords - it should help you build backlinks as well
(you can find an expert to do it for you)
    * Find someone to create a product for you targeting your niche - see Warriors for Hire forum

    Etc. etc.
    good luck.

Thanks Ido, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Currently I am using Adsense because it pays around £1 - £3 per click. But, a product and an opt-in form (thanks to the poster above me) is something I am going to put together.

The problem I have is I want to move up, but I don't have the time to focus on this project so I'd rather outsource. What I really wanted for people was advice on tactics that will help me move up in the ranks so I can outsource them.

Thanks again for your response, and to the poster above me.

Seems like you need a good SEO person or team to give you sustained, consistent backlinks over the next few months. Hopefully you have a good optin form and a good back-end monetization built with the autoresponder; sustained linkbuilding is the key in any niche, especially a competitive niche like insurance, even though the search volume is low and the keyword is moderately non-competitive. Depending on your copywriting skills, you may also need to outsource a copywriter for the autoresponder sequence.

There are many WSOs providing great backlink, SEO services. Iam using one which provides Guaranteed Page 1 ranking for just $79. So search for a nice wso and outsource your seo work to them. You can also use Fiverr for getting some backlinks, article creation etc work done.

"Guaranteed Page 1 ranking". Thats a pretty big statement to live by. I mean, my keyword might be "Motorbike Insurance" which, for $79 you wouldn't be able to promise a page 1 ranking. The same as if my keyword was "mp3".

I'm not really into buying WSO's or self promotion services. I usually go by redirects. Obviously it's different on something like oDesk because you can see their ratings, recently work, reviews etc. But, that's just me it's nothing personal.

The best place to outsource is Fiverr, in my opinion. A real time and money saver!

      Guys,

It may have been my wording, or some people may not have read my initial post and assumed I was looking for places to outsource, but I am not looking for information on the best freelance websites or outsourcing sites.

The question I am asking is "I have $1000. I want to outsource some tasks to improve my ranking. What tasks would you outsource to move from position 60 (page 6) to a first page ranking?

A warrior named Mattaclear offers a backlinking service with a garunteed first page ranking. I would suggest checking him out. He charges about $100 per keyword (I think?). If that is the case it gives you some extra money for building the ebook, aweber and the follow up process for your autoresponder.

Thanks Skid_Roe. I will search for his name and pop him a message. That sounds like just the thing I need. I love a referral
