Idea for hip hop beat website
Hey everyone
I just wanted some feedback on this idea and whether or not you think it would be feasable.
Well this isn't my idea but there are very few music producers who do or know about this...
it's explained in an ebook called "soundclick annihilation" (google it)
Most hip hop producer sell beats on sites like soundclick or their own websites by selling "leasing rights" for around 15-25 dollars, meaning the producer keeps the rights and can resell the beat.
Well this method of having a hip hop production website is basically focused around having all your beats up for free, but with a content gateway like Blam Ads or an equivalent CPA network to lock the screen before you can download beats.
Do you all think this idea would make more money then just selling beats with a service like myflashstore.net for like $20? think about it, id be giving away free beats but still making money.
I am really trying to approach my hip hop beats website like an internet marketer, rather then just a normal producer or musician. Mainly because I'm lazy and want money to come to me with me doing the least work, haha!
the only good exampe of this business model I can think of is probangers.com (i am not connected with that site)
plus, I'd promote the site on adwords with keyboard "free beats" or something
