I'd go for the Website version simply because if you check the Google keyword tool, "almostanyword website" has a significantly greater monthly search count then "almostanyword site" or "almostanyword source". Try searching for "cooking website" and "pet website" to see what I mean.

I agree with john, even if the one with "source" in it sounds a bit more professional to me.

What will your website be, by the way ?

Its would be for an information. Not really articles or new stuff. Theres already a few establised sites like it. Kind of career / business related

The "x"site.net is available and only the "x"source.org is available. I know that "x"site gets more searches for any kw but the "x"source.org kind of sounds better i have heard, but its also a .org.....

In my experience the great name you think you have come up with has already been taken!

I have spent far too long trying to come up with domain names.

Here is a tool I came across that might help you.

Simply enter keywords you wish to use in your domain and it comes up with suggestions.

I know that the word Business isn't copyrighted but would there be any copyright issue being that there is an established site at business.com and using BusinessSite.com?

I like BusinessSource.com,it's the only one out of the three that make sense to me.

Seems to me you have a decision to make, based on the responses in this thread.

1.) Make your choice based on "branding" and go with BusinessSource, which sounds professional and which will make sense to your readers.

2.) Make your choice based on quick and dirty SEO and go with BusinessWebsite.

Although I think John Motson's suggestion is very clever, personally I'd go with BusinessSource.

Abnother way to look at it: Are you going for a quick traffic hit or are you in it for the long haul?

I suggest before making such statement, you do some research
about .org. If the Keyword is good, .com, .net, .info are good.

I don't see why .org would be a problem if it's some sort of information site for business professionals.. seems like it would be a kind of "organization" - or at least you could brand it that way..

      Hi!

I personally don't agree with spiders1980. I think that .org is the same as .net and it's definitely not a wast of time to work it.
      I would go for BusinessSource.org

      Cheers!

If it's an excellent keyword that you are using, then the top domain extensions are .com, .net, and .org. Don't bother about the others eg .biz
