why did my thread get deleted?

I wasn't selling anything just offering free help for newbies with new sites and poof...the thread was gone....

    If your thread was deleted, there was a reason behind it, and from what you described it sounds like it might have seemed a bit spammy. Also, offering help is great, and encouraged here, but people might have issues trusting someone who hasn't been here long or contributed on the board itself.

    As to the advice about sending a support ticket - I second that!!!

    I would send a ticket in DEMANDING to know why it was deleted and let them know that there will be consequences if your questions aren't given the attention they deserve!

    You've been a member here since March. You have a whopping 16 posts, none more than about two sentences long, and a large percentage with no real content.

    You start a thread offering free help for newbies with new sites, with absolutely no indication that you know what you're talking about.

    And a mod got suspicious and nuked your thread?

    Who'd a thunk it?

    You might be surprised, but a lot of people drop in here with their kindly offers of "free help", and somehow that offer usually involves buying something the helper gets paid for. It may not have been a direct solicitation, but it probably smelled like an ad and the mod who nuked it chose to act on the conservative side.

    Don't bother with the support ticket. Thomas can't help you, and bothering him with "why did my thread get deleted" questions is a great way to get you tossed out of here.

  • First read the forum rules, and next make sure you are not coming across as spammy.

    Dont want to get on teh bad side of the admin or mods here, or you will be quickly killed. they do a fantastic job these days, and there are spammer that come in here each day and wreck it for us warriors.

    But these days spam gets zapped in a matter of minutes LOL. by the way, nice job mods...this place been getting lots of spam lately.
