I've Changed For The Better - Can I Get An Amen!
This is gonna be a long thread, but I just wanted to get something off my chest.
Don't worry, I'm not gonna get all religious with you (in fact i'm not religious at all) so don't worry.
I posted a war room report the other day (on backlinks) and the comments left and general feedback has been nothing but outstanding. Whoever has left a comment, I appreciate it and it has encouraged me to share a bit more.
Anyway, that's not what this is about!
I was astonished and surprised at the pm's I recieved asking me what a backlink was and how do you get them.
Guys, I nearly fell off my chair
Don't get me wrong, I realise there are a lot of new guys on this Forum and I'm the first to welcome them on board and help where I can. I just didn't realise just how many there were. Seriously, I had no idea.
I Was Doing It All Wrong!
Most of the advice I've given and some of the products I've created in the past were all aimed at the intermediate because I thought that was the bulk of the people on here.
Now, I'm no big hot shot (far from it) and I feel I'm always learning on here, but this seriously made me sit back and think. Damn, I need to have a quiet word with myself and make some serious changes. TODAY!
Here's my masterplan
1. Whenever I give advice or leave comments on these threads. I'll try to go into a bit more detail and break things down so that everyone can understand and possibly implement.
2. I'll try to make references to useful info online if I feel I can't get more point across properly. This will be either blog posts, news sites and even videos.
3. More importantly, and this one is at the top of my list! If I produce future WSO's. I'll make sure that there's either a basic or newbie section outlining what the person is about to learn and why they need to learn it.
For me, this is a complete focus shift and I suppose it's gonna take a bit more time with regards to product creation. However, I feel it will set me apart the average marketer to the one that's just after your hard earned $$$ and doesn't give a sh*t.
Do you get what I mean?
Now, whether this is the right road to take, I suppose only time will tell. I just wondered what your thoughts were on this topic and whether anyone else had experienced this line of thinking?
Also,
If you're new on here. What are your thoughts?
