How can you draw the attention of your target audience?

I read in one of the interesting threads here in Warrior Forum that this is one of the best places to market one's business.

Some are getting a lot of attention but I wonder what's happening to the rest.

Can you please give advice on how to draw the attention of your target audience?

Thanks for sharing.

Jose

Offer value with your posts. Make people interested in what it is you have to say, and what value you can offer their businesses.

Value, interesting text, clickable links, and number of posts does it for me.

Consider creating one resource post per day (find something cool or come up with a new idea)

Then contribute to a few other discussions. Don't be annoying and help others with stuff.

Ask a few questions...it's hard being new b/c you don't know much but over time by creating a resource (find a cool link through Stumbleupon if you can't find anything else) post every day...you'll develop a great reputation...which will lead to clicks on your sig file.

    Cheers,

Yes, it is all about establishing credibility and being helpful. Then, when people are looking for something they will turn to you.

Of course it helps to have something helpful in your signature box. Make sure it is a good match for the people that will be reading it.

Perhaps an even better question might be, "How many threads can I start in a day before Warriors wonder whether I'm just trying to up my post count so I can post a WSO?"

Good Call - I think that thread may be next.

I think 14 or 15 posts started in 2 days might be getting close to that mark.

Make yourself stand out by having rich and quality post. With this you can grab the attention of most warriors.

In the way you started I doubt anyone will click on you sig, anyone will trust your product or anyone buy anything from you.

You started TOTALLY wrong and believe me that you will have a very HARD,HARD time getting people to trust you after this.

Firstly, if you post comments that describe your
target audience as a generic steriotype, such as
"the masses" don't be surprised if they don't
respond to you in a positive way.

Secondly, you can't "make" anyone take any type
of action. You need to work on building your image,
    your credibility, your reputation.

Learn to contribute in a way that helps people. Show
that you are interested in people as individuals. See
this as a community first and a market place last.

Forum marketing isn't about using force, it's about
forming relationships and using your influencing and
    persuation skills.

When you are seen as a positive and helpful contributor
people may pay more attention to what's in your sig.
