Creative forum traffic generation ideas?

Let's see the great minds of WF.

So I'm interested in promoting my product on a lot of the forum communities in my niche as they are a part of my prime target audience. However, pretty much every single forum in this niche, that has any popularity at all, strictly prohibits signatures, profile links of any kind, or any type of self promotion regardless of your standing in the community. Third parties talking openly about the product is fine, except for any hint of 'spamming' or whatever will likely get the thread deleted.

So, as you can see, I'm having a little trouble coming up with effective ways to get them from these forums and to my website where I can market to them. Or to at least make these people aware that my product exists.

Any ideas?

    Yes, I have some ideas...

    Here is one:

Go to fiverr.com and post a gig. Something like "... review my product and post a review on X number of forums".

You will be fine as it was obviously a 3rd party doing the review...

Instead of posting a gig you can just do a search on fiverr for "reviews" or "video reviews".

Do any of the forums have banner advertising or any type of paid advertising that you could tackle?

The mod's would pick up on this really fast and ban all the reviewers and myself pretty quickly. I had thought maybe I could get a 3rd party to make a thread here and there "Has anyone tried productXYZ?" But other than that, I'm pretty stumped.

They do, but I don't think the cost would leave me very good margins for the ebook i'm promoting.

For these types of forums where you can't post any outside link without getting banned, i really don't see how you could generate good traffic from your posts/threads...

I suggest finding forums where you can post link in signatures and simply providing quality content..

    Cheers,
