Hey guys, I have a domain that's expiring in a couple of months, not sure whether to keep it, or let it go, as I've done nothing with it...

blingdogtags[dot]com

It gets 880 exact searches a month... could I domain park it... I've no idea how to do this.

Cheers.

depends. do you ever plan on building that out? you could definitely do an ecommerce store with that which would be great. don't trust the keyword tool though, test that keyword in Adwords to get the real picture

yes I would do the same. I would write down three things from this forum and go away and test. If they work great otherwise ditch em.

If you have another domains and also want to increase traffic then you can use this domain and put backlinks on this or make directory submissions after putting some latest updates regarding the name of it and what it is. This brings lots traffic and also you can earn by clicks from unique visitors.

There are a few online jewelry sites with dog tags paying an 8% to 15% commission.
(I hear the owner of icedoutbling is a millionaire)

I imagine you would have to branch out to other jewelry in order to have a rank worthy amount of content.

I'd drop it myself, I think if you really wanted to do something with it then you might have done it by now? i mean if you are motivated to start the dog tag site then I don't see why you shouldn't.

If you've had the domain for ten months and haven't done anything with it you might as well let it expire.

But as long as you still have it log in to your domain manager and park it, who knows, you might make enough clicks to make it worth keeping.

Is it worth your time to monetize something that gets 880 Exact? Can you get to #1 and how much $$$ will you make?

I'd either sell it for $xx or let it drop.

If you let the domain expire, and then six months later you find out that someone else bought the domain and built a site out of it, that ranks in the top 3 search results of Google for that keyword, will you then regret it?

You could build out a niche website and try to get it ranked, and then sell the site on Flippa.

Park it using Sedo or GoDaddy... Or flip it for 20 or 30 bucks. Hell, even if you only got 5 bux for it that would be better than getting zero for it by letting it expire.

Sounds like it would be a good amazon or adsense site.
