Unique article for ezine - or not?

Hi all,

When doing articles for ezine - do you give them a unique article

or do you wait until a new page on your site is indexed, and give them a copy of that.

or do you give them a spun copy of a new page on your site.

or - do you do something else?

Would love to hear what works for you and ezine.

Cheers.!

I publish the article on my own site first. Once it's indexed, I will then submit it to EzineArticles or another directory. In most cases the only thing I change is the title.

Once approved by EZ - spin like crazy and post to all other directories!

No - under no circumstances would I give initial indexation rights to freshly written content to an article directory.

When you have time for a leisurely but highly informative and instructional read, in this thread you'll find a whole succession of experienced, successful, professional article marketers explaining why and how they do what they do, and their (shared) reasons for publishing their articles on their own sites first and then submitting them (unchanged) to EZA and to other directories: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...eza-first.html

Contrary to a widespread urban myth of internet marketing, there's absolutely no need at all to await EZA acceptance and publication before submitting the same article elsewhere under the same name/pen-name.

There's only one article directory ("Buzzle") which requires previously unpublished content.

Wow - great replies guys - thanks so much.

I'm not kidding - you've saved me weeks of work. Until now i've always given ezine unique content - thinking i didnt want to get hit with the dup content rule.

No longer!!! Ezine can suck my recycled - re-titled content! (once indexed on my site of course )

Can i ask - have you ever had any problems with ezine rejecting articles that are already published on your sites? Do you put the pen name at the bottom of the articles on your site - to prove they are your own? Or do you simply make sure that the article links to the original site somewhere?

    Thanks again.

    Thanks again.

      And quite right, too.

      I haven't - and I've done it over 1,200 times.

The only people who have had a problem over EZA finding their work published elsewhere (whether on their own site, in another directory, or anywhere else) have found that's happened when it's been previously published under a different name ... because, understandably, that makes EZA wonder whether stolen content has been submitted.

When previously published, it needs to be in the same name/pen-name as the name/pen-name used to submit it to EZA.

      You should.

I have a pen-name for each niche in which I do business, and take great care always to have that pen-name on each page of the website (though not specifically after each article, I admit) and use the same as a pen-name at EZA (you can have as many different pen-names as you need, within one author account there, but mustn't open a second author account).
