Hey everyone, I'm curious and was hoping to pick your brains to get your opinions on one simple yet extremely important aspect of marketing online:

"When do you reach critical mass for your site, a time when self promotion is more productive than things like guest posting and article marketing?"

Even with sites that have reached their "critical mass" where self promotion and internal traffic channels such as a youtube or twitter accounts get more traffic than say a guest post or articles for article directories, it is obviously important to maintain all outside promotion to some degree. But at what point do you make the self promotion your #1 priority?
#critical #mass

Can you define critical mass in relation to Internet Marketing?
