Made my first sale today!

hi everyone just wanted to tell the word that I made a sale from my affiliate site today it is the 1st sale so far and the site has been sandboxed by google so really unexpected.

I built the site on the 9th of March so it has taken 2 months. Doesn't seem that long though I couldn't believe it when I checked. Its real motivation for me and reward for the work I've put in. Big thanks to everybody in the warrior forum I'm not a big poster but I have read a lot, so thanks.

Does this mean I'm a Internet Marketer now??:p

      Thanks for all the encouragement everyone, I don't think that one sale qualifies me as an expert but for those asking this is what I did.

      1) Learn

      2) Make a plan

      3) Implement it

      1) The learning I did was from a wide range of sources but once I understood the different ways to make money I decided on becoming an amazon affiliate.

      If I were to bullet point what I have learned it is this:-

      The different types of link building, guest blog posts, blog comments, internal links from adding content, forum profile links, forum post links, social book marking and press releases, site wide links, web 2.0 links.

      I then learned to build a wordpress review site using youtube to type in anything I did not know how to do. Everything you need to know is on youtube.

      I then spent days writing articles, about 30000 words in total, this gave me the content the implement my plan and I am still sing that content even now. As i work full time I knew that the most difficult thing to do would be to write loads of content so on my holiday I made my self a stockpile. I do write articles but if I fall behind I use some of my stockpile. Much easier to add content and bookmark than it is to write it then add and bookmark it.

      2) The Plan

      My plan was to make an amazon affiliate site that was a useful review and comparison site. Then get to the top of the search engines for the top keywords related to the term.
      The way I planned to do this was using guest posts, book marking, forum backlinks, press releases and web 2.0 pyramids/linkwheels. And any sitewide links related to my product. By the way I do not recommend bulk profile backlinks built to your money site this got my site sandboxed after progressing nicely to postion 25 in google search. Use them for linking to web 2.0 sites instead.

      3) Implement

      The Amazonian Profit Plan
      Keyword Academy
      Warrior forum

      swap xx for tt for links above

      Tools I have and Use

      Market Samurai (also have excellent training videos) i think $97
      Postrunner from keyword academy $33 a month
      Magic Submitter $67 a month(also really good training videos)

    Congrats! I also made a sale after 2 months my site was up, and in the next 3 months I made no sales.
