How to sell info products to a non-IM market who buys lots of product, but not INFO of product?

Hi,
I'm considering selling information products to a non-business and non-marketing niche.
This market buys plenty of the products (they are collectors), but they don't seem to buy information products about these products.

How would you suggest I find out what kind of info products they would be interested in buying?

Hard to say without more info.

If they are collectors I imagine the only type of info material that would be valuable to them are ones that teach or help them to appraise their collection, how to spot counterfeits, or things along those lines.

I'd look at magazines devoted to the niche. I'm guessing that if they're collectors there would be magazines associated with that market and if you look through a few issues and see what ads are running in them you should be able to get a good idea of what those folks are buying. Especially if you see the same ads appearing again and again.

Just guaging off of what you wrote I would look at the best selling product and see if i could make a product that compliment and aid the best selling product.

If they are buying they are looking for results.

Definately build a list and maybe give them a free forum to share their thoughts in while you build a relationship as an insider and develope a product they'll hit the buy button on.

More specific info would be needed obviously to give specific answers. Hope this post trigger some good idea for you.

    Honestly,

If you have to ask, you probably aren't qualified to be selling products in that niche.
