Hi Warriors,

If you have a cell phone and post your pictures via social sites you maybe
giving people more info that they need to know!

You may be giving the exact location of a loved one or even yourself!

If you have a cell phone(I won't go into makes and models)check all your
settings/options to ensure you do not allow Geo Tracking of Pictures to
remain enabled.

Don't freak out on my posting this! Geo Tracking comes in handy for you to
find directions to locations where you want/need to go.

All I'm saying is to Check your settings after you read this post. Do it now!

Have you taken a picture on your cell phone at a Loved one's house?

Some services transmit the Longitude and Latitude from were the picture
was taken. Blend that with Google Maps and you have a recipe for
disaster.

Stay Safe.
Check your phone and turn off the Geo Picture Tracking option/feature Now!

    Great tip Michael thanks. People have become so blase about their privacy and security these days, it's frightening. Fortunately for me my phone doesn't upload directly to any social sites, one less thing to worry about!

    Hi Charlotte,

    I posted this thread because my son's phone came with the option enabled
    and he didn't realize it. I'm no cell phone expert by any means.

    I Just wanted to make sure others were aware of the security risks and that
    they have a chance to correct the problem, hopefully, before something bad
    happens.
