Facebook- do Privacy settings take TIME to save?

I have made all of my Facebook settings (Friends, display jobs, groups, wall)
private, only viewable by me.

when i log in, under another ID and see my original Profile, i can still see my Job, groups, Wall, and friends....

when I made everything private?


could it be a cookie thing?

    Are you sure you saved all your settings when you originally did it? If you did, then you just may need to clear your cookies and cache and see if that works.

      There was no save button.

      Just alist of items you can make available to Friends, friends of friends, only me.

      and a preview profile button

      I didnt see any save button

    Hmmm, thought there was. I just checked myself and lo and behold there is no save button. Probably just clearing the cache and cookies should do the trick.

    May be you are getting that problem at that time. I would suggest you try again after some time.

      It has been over 1 day, and althuogh everything on the profile has been SAVED As Private, the details are still visible (friends, groups, wall) - even though I turned them off.

    Clear your cookies, login details and flush your dns. Get in again and repeat the process of setting up appropriate security settings. It should be automatic, or at least really fast
