How many article views is a good amount?

I've had one of my articles posted on Ezine for 5 1/2 hours, and I've had about 7 views. I social bookmarked the article once it was posted, is this most likely where the traffic is coming from? Do you think that this traffic will increase on it's own? Or will it die off? I have good keywords in the article and such, so I'm curious to see what happens. This is the first time that I actually know half of what I'm doing. I am working on it.

One of my articles has been posted for three days, and has had ten views.

Another article has been posted 5 1/2 hours and it's had 7 views and 1 click through.

Not sure if this is considered good?

Thanks in advance

Don't think its good but yea, its normal.
eZine's traffic has already been cut to its half after the recent Google algorithm changes and experts say that Article Marketing will not be as effective as it is used to be in the past. if you have some good keywords in your article then you will get most of the traffic on autopilot from eZine, i mean you don't even have to promote your article. through social bookmarking and all that stuff.

Also, for the sake of better results, its advisable to use less competition keywords in your article if you are new to the world of article marketing. hope this helps

First off take your articles from Ezine and create an RSS feed name it something snappy then submit it to some of the major RSS directories. Likeweise on any social bookmarking websites you are using check to see if they have RSS capability and feed those through the directories as well. Then ping everything directly at the source. You should see some traffic if it is on at least a moderately interesting keyword.

The next thing you can do is go to my website and make a submission through my contact form following the guidelines. I call it a bookmarking website, but really the way I have it set up it's more like a free blog post site similar to many of the services that you would pay for to have posts put on there blog. Mine is free though. I will check to make sure the material is relevant and not spam. Follow the link in my sig and check it out tjc348. I also as you will read on the site take my posts and run them through some channels of my own, something I'm not sure any other bookmarking sites will do for you.

Well if it's a feed you build yourself then you would have to ping that feed as that created feed URL would be your source. For all sites where they automatically put your content into feeds then pinging the actual article is what you do. All that will do is ensure that wherever you have shared your feeds at will get updated. I'm no expert on this however.
