2. Also having a squeeze page as the "index" page

I don't know how to do both

I usually have themes that I use for all the squeeze pages, sales pages, funnel, etc.

These do cost money though but well worth it in my opinion.

    The themes I use mostly

    Thesis
    OptimizedPress
    MarketingCMS
    and ProfitTheme

Thank you but I was mostly looking for help on how to set them up on WP..

I didn't know you could have a "static" page set up as well as an "index" page that was not the "static" page

      thanks

    1) To make a static page is just to create a Page inside WP. In your admin area, click 'Pages - Add New'. Fill it in and hit the publish button. Done.

    2) Create your squeeze page the same as #1, as in create a new page and publish it. (Obviously you will be inputting your opt-in code in this page).

The in your admin area, go to Settings==>Reading==>Front Page Displays==>A Static Page (and choose the name of your page you created as your squeeze page).

If that's all you want to do then:

    1. Inside your WP admin to go Settings
    2. Click on Reading and you'll see settings to make a static page with options for both Front page and Post page

Copy all the html inside your squeeze page and paste it in your post editing box in wordpress and publish it as a post.

To copy the contents of your squeeze page, simply open the squeeze page in notepad and copy the code you see in it. Now paste it in your wordpress post editing box and publish it as a post.

      Hey thanks guys...

Vegas, do you name the "index" squeeze page "index" anywhere?

      Thanks

I'm not Vegas but I'll answer for you You don't need to name the squeeze page index. You can select any page for your home page, you just create the page as usual and then in your settings select that page as your home page.
