Hi,

I from a Pakistan and PayPal does not offer its service here.

I want to become a member at 2co or plimus.

I will be launching a WSO soon so I want to know which one will be better for me 2CO or Plimus to receive payments?

Plimus is free and 2CO charges $50. But if I only sell WSO will they also charge $50?

Waiting for the kind answers

Thanks

    Of course they will still charge $50, they don't care what you're using it for, it doesn't matter, their fees are their fees.

    I would think a lot of people do not really know what plimus is, and would be hesitant to use it. 2checkout I would think more people are aware of and willing to use.

    Just my opinion...

    I am really tensed believe me. I am willing to launch a WSO but only feeling shaking deciding between payment processors. I love to have a PayPal account but I can't do any thing.

  • I've used 2Checkout and except for a minor snafu, I would recommend them well. Plimus I know has been around a while, but I have to agree I'm a leary of them, myself, for some reason. o.O

  • But that $50 at 2Checkout will probably get you more sales. In the long run, I think. Like the poster pointed out earlier, 2Checkout is more well-known = more trust from buyer.

    With 2checkout your customers can still pay with Paypal so it is definitely beneficial as so many people are comfortable using Paypal for payments. The only thing with 2co is that you may have to put a payment link on your website rather than on the WSO itself. Whenever I run a WSO I direct customers to my website where I have my payment link. I have heard that 2co frown upon using the payment link anywhere other than your website.

    This is bad I think we can directly put a link of buy now through plimus on WSO.

      I have never tried using their payment link on a WSO but I remember one other Warrior saying that he did it and they didn't like it.

      You could always contact them and ask them about that just to be sure. They are a good choice of payment processor since your customers can then still use Paypal. Or do you have a website where you can add the payment button??

    If you are deciding between 2CO and plimus, you'd be 100 miles better with 2CO. Moreover, having the buy now on the wso link to an upsell on your website solves the problem of direct linking.
    Hope this helps

      If you are not allowed to put the buy link anywhere else than on your own domain, you could maybe use a redirect (if that is allowed?).

      If in your WSO you have a "buy now"-button, you could link it to a html.page on your own domain that then automatically redirects people to the purchase link.

      If you want to do this, you could make a html file and call it "2CO.html" and upload it to your domain.

      Paste this code in "2CO.html":

      Code:
      <html>
      <head>
      <meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="0; url=YOUR2COBUYNOWLINKHERE">
      </head>
      </html>
      Make sure you change YOUR2COBUYNOWLINKHERE to the actual 2CO buy link.

      If you have the "buy now"-button linked to "2CO.html" on your domain, when wso buyers click on it they will be sent to your domain and from there to the 2CO processing.

      BIG NOTE: I'm not a programmer/lawyer/html expert so I don't know if this actually works or if it is legal :-)

    2Checkout can be another alternative to paypal.

    shoaibahmad9999, you can run your WSO without letting the Paypal stop you.

    I would suggest, create your WSO ready and
    look out for a Warriorforum member who has a paypal account and has a good reputation here. Partner with him or her in using his paypal account to recieve your wso payment. discuse the commission basis with him...[may be %10 from all the sales] then send the rest to you through union money transfer or bank wire.

    Must be someone you trust and trust you too.

    Plz Note: i didnt make this suggestion so you contact me for it...As matter of fact PayPal Doesnt Work In My Country too. But to drop a suggestion that may help out]

    Cheers.

    I should use Plimus as they offer the option to pay with PayPal I think. So people can still pay with PayPal but you host your money on Plimus.

      I'm not sure you can use any payment process you choose for a WSO.

      If you offer paypal through e-junkie or other processor - you have to be able to collect the payment with your own paypal account, don't you?

      This isn't a question that can be accurately answered with "I think" or "maybe". You need to ask the help desk what payment methods are allowed.

      Partner with him or her in using his paypal account to recieve your wso payment. discuse the commission basis with him....[may be %10 from all the sales] then send the rest to you through union money transfer or bank wire.
      There are partners who do this on a 50/50 basis - but no one in his right mind would do this for a small percentage or for someone they don't personally know. The tax burden would be 100% on the person who has the paypal account - as would the refund requests.

        I've seen this said before, and find it very surprising indeed.

        In listing WSO's surely the Warrior Forum is simply selling advertising space? The Forum isn't involved in the transaction - so why would it have any interest/concern regarding how people selling things actually collect their payments? It would be rather bizarre, surely, while booking an ad somewhere (whether offline or online) to be asked how you were collecting your payments from customers buying whatever you're selling? :confused:

        Through e-junkie, yes.

        Through some others, not necessarily, I think? They might act as a retailer, accepting payments from your customers by PayPal, but paying you in another way for which you don't need a PayPal account. (Clickbank would be an example of that principle, though obviously I don't suggest that they'd accept a WSO as a product sales page).

    Hey Shoaib,

    DPD Shopping Cart | The Easy Way to Sell Downloads, Keycodes, and Tangible Goods integrates with 2co and you can use their buy now button in a WSO (I have done it before) and they will also securely deliver the product and host it on their server as well as limit the number of download attempts and also cloak your links. (now if you could only get them to integrate with Imnica )

    However, does anyone know if 2co integrates with WSO pro?

      Doesn't DPD transfer the money to Paypal? The guy has already made it clear that he doesn't have paypal, so is DPD really the right product for it?

    I have been using plimus for a while now as I am fed up with and refuse to use paypal. I use it on many WSOs without issue as well as on my own sites. And yes, you can accept payment from PayPal, MoneyBookers, CC/Debit Card, eCheck, etc. all to your Plimus.

    I have been paid on time every month and nothing but good experiences. I do multiple sales daily, probably 90% of people pay me via their PayPal balance, and haven't had any issues. Definitely prefer them to PayPal.

    I'd also like to add that I too was torn between 2CO and Plimus but ultimately went with Plimus since it is free, I figured if I had any issues I could then switch to 2CO; if I went the other way around I'd be out $50. I have a feeling I would have been equally happy with 2CO though, but Plimus has worked great for me.

    You know.. Messing with PayPal if they already "banned" You or doesn't allow your country is NOT a good idea. They will let you bring in those sales, when the money is in - BAM - freezed. And your money is stuck. Not worth it.

    2CO, go with them instead! You will earn back the fees for setting up your account in no time anyway so don't hesitate.

      With all due respect, do we need to bother the help desk over this?

      The OP wants some kind of free option to accept payment for his WSO, he's made it clear he doesn't want to pay the $50.

      With respect also to the OP, if you can't pay the $50 for a better payment service, what exactly will your WSO be showing me?

      I see, I do apologise.

      Then I suggest you look into, as has been mentioned, a payment system people are familiar with and will trust. You will lose more sales with an unknown free payment provider than you would with something people are familiar with and feel safe buying through.

      All I mean is, saving $50 today may actually lose you sales in the future, depending, obviously, who you decide to use.

    I am using 2co for my WSOs and I am very happy with it.

    I bring people to my shopping cart first and then using 2co they can pay me. 99% of my clients pay me using their paypal.

    But my dream is to use warrior plus or wso pro but I can not have those as I do not have a playpal account.

    Anyway, things are as it is... I am happy with my current situation as at least I can lounh WSO but without any affiliate involvements.

    One important thing you need to think about (if you are using a payment processor other than Paypal) is the affiliate side of things. The WSO marketplace is heavily affiliate driven. The harder you make it for affiliates to promote, the less likely it is they will.

    Most affiliates prefer to promote products being sold through Paypal because they receive instant commissions.

    2CO is much much better than Plimus and it gives your customers the option to pay you through PayPal while you can collect your money through Payoneer, Bank wire, checks,... etc whatever you like.

    But as WillR said, you will suffer recruiting affiliates. so if you are okay with that and willing to launch your WSO on your own without help from others, then go on and sign up with 2CO.

    i have payed loads of Indian company throw paypal they must done it some how, as long as your account is legally looked after properly dont see no problem.

    please can you post the fact that ebay dont accept Indian country.

    you can have a paypal account your bank needs to be
    HDFC Bank to validate a paypal account from India and other international country

    looks like you didn't even read there rules or ask at there really good paypal forum for support, you just ran here and fort where no, no sorry this is for the wso, the payment method if useing paypal needs to use there forum ok.

    warrior forum only accept paypal for there wso as default that what i was told? if i am wrong please correct me(sorry that if you use there ad don what's from warrior plus service.)

    I think you can add any payment service as you fully understand it your responsibility if it dose not work, member love to pay as they prefer paypal as it properly verified for sales.

    if you use anything but paypal as a payment gateway you might expect low sales, even no sales, i wouldn't use nothing except paypal as there system can refund any fraud payment and they do protect there customers.

    adding one last thing for all paypal user's.

    if you get paid money into your account via payal it best practice to immediately transfer all funds to your bank account, pay pal will freeze any account with funds in it not transferred as a income you made.this is done as a tax problem between you and your country.

    also remember every year paypal gives your country the info to the tax man what you made for the year automatically.(your tax office will cross match that with your self employed earnings)
