Hello there. Im trying to make money online for a quite long now. I tryied many things, but none of them worked for me so far. The latest i have been trying....i have a website where i sell my product. I made another website wich i was trying to rank on google wich would lead to main site (where i sell product). The main website cant get any views, and another website (leading to main website) cant rank even top 100. Again havent made any money. I really dont know how could i make any money online. At the top of that im out of money now. I have an ebook (cant get buyers to buy), i have some graphics skills (cant get customers to buy), i have some web design sklls (cant get customers to buy), etc....i never cant get people to buy my product(s), service(s). :S

P.s. i sit whole days in front of computer.

you have a website in your signature which supposedly delivers loads of traffic

you sell an e-book - let me guess "how to make $$$ online!"

please, get off your computer, and get a job. you are one of many people ruining the industry - i'm sorry to sound harsh, but clearly you have NOT succeeded and yet I'll bet you are still out there trying to push crappy products using crappy copy to people with even less knowledge than yourself.

don't sit in front of your computer - go and find a job.

I strongly disagree - He's doing this because he probably doesn't want to get a regular 9-5 job, and he doesn't have to.

All he has to do is learn, as we all do - and eventually he'll find the right path, which he can then just replicate as much as he wants.

I personally think he's on the right track, he just has to continue by making small changes in certain areas such as promotion of his website, learning, testing, and believing - and most importantly, not to give up due to discouragement of comments such as this.

Though true, you can't completely blame the newbies.

Some courses tell you to do this.

Those who have no experience within IM will have no idea that this is what ruins our image as a whole.

Not always the case, but you've got to take that into consideration. I did it before I knew better.

100% agree, it's so very easy to move from one IM product to the next..chasing the dream as such. Find an IM avenue you like, stick with it untill it works.

I don't think it's necessarily a lack of focus dude. I think it's a lack of knowing how to write good copy and driving traffic, which is pretty bad for the product being a "how to generate traffic" product lol.

      Agree with Will here.

True900,follow this advice STRICTLY and i guarantee you, you will succeed.

Choose just ONE thing to do and remain FOCUSED on that. Put all your efforts on that and like Will said DON'T STOP UNTIL YOU MAKE IT WORK.

Only then you can face new challenges.

One of the biggest problems newbies, internet marketers face is that they try to do too many things and lose focus resulting in procrastination all the time!

So to avoid that start with ONE thing and FOCUS on that!

If you follow the Bring the Fresh program then I'm not sure why you are having problems getting your website ranked - it's a great program. I do know though that the guys over at Bring the Fresh are always there to help you and maybe you just need to reach out and ask for that help so they can point out what you are doing wrong.

If you want to concentrate on getting small affiliate sites ranked then just do that one thing. Follow the program exactly, find out what you are doing wrong, adjust things, and keep going. Don't give up just because the very first site you have tried has not worked - there is probably something simple you are doing wrong. If you just give up and move on then you will never get anywhere.

If you stick to it for a month or two you should definitely start to see results.

Make money creating Squidoo lenses. Squidoo pays you for creating them. You can also sell many affiliate products through your lenses, and promote your websites. I’m using Squidoo mainly to drive traffic to my websites, but at the same time, I’m building a passive income. I didn’t sell anything from my lenses yet, but I got paid $4 from Squidoo per month for having 18 lenses – royalties. Now I have created 30 lenses. I will see how much I will make with more lenses. Squidoo pays you two months later; each month we receive the payment for the month before the month we are now.

I enjoy creating lenses where I promote my work, giving a better image to my visitors. They go to my websites and remain longer there, because they already know that my work is good – they read one of my nice lenses. And Squidoo pays me for creating lenses where I mainly promote my work!

Here is how I easily create lenses in a short period of time:

    http://www.squidoo.com/passive-income-website-traffic-squidoo-beginners-guide

This is the only lens I have about internet marketing – just to get traffic from this field too, and send it to my difficult field: mental health. And, I'm helping everyone learn how to create lenses.

All my other lenses are about mental health, physical health, self-help, brain power, etc. You have to create lenses about related topics to get more traffic. You get traffic from Squidoo through the Discovery tool, in other words, through the window that appears in almost all lenses – you have to check and see if the lens has the Discovery tool on before linking your lens to this lens.

    Take care!

I'm sorry but I agree with Matt. Someone posting a lament like this has no business selling products about how to get traffic and sell products.

The one thing I can say in favor of the OP is he at least doesn't lie on the sales page and claim that he overcame the obstacles and is now making money.

Find a product niche that isn't internet marketing and experience real success before you start trying to sell others on the whole "how to make money online" scheme.

If you seriously want people here to help you - you have to start by removing your sig links.

Surely you can see the irony of having a sig link that says it will "Solve all your traffic problems now" whilst at the same time asking how to get traffic to your website.

I for one wouldn't trust any product you write.

to all you guys who say "he doesn't have to get a job he's new and trying new things etc etc etc"...

of course he doesn't have to get a job, but there are better ways of learning a trade than passing yourself off as an expert to capitalize on other's ignorance, which i feel this guy is doing.

it's a matter of ethics i guess, which is something of intense questioning on this forum (and many marketing forums like it)

      Matt, I couldn't agree more.

I have a few EBooks that explicitly state that you should "position yourself as an expert"... that's one of my pet peeves in the internet marketing industry.

When you're dealing with other people's business's in the IM industry, you need to know what the hell you're talking about if you try and sell something to IM'ers!

Absolutely. I've been doing IM since january and now make a steady $500/month across various streams. It's not a lot, I consider myself utterly green still and open to learning new stuff - I would certainly not consider myself an expert and sell ebooks on the matter!

You know I also think I saw your website on Clickbank. If that's true then my question to you is are you getting affiliates? If you are and have that site on two different places, your affiliates won't be happy to find this out.

Second, I really didn't read the copy, but you might want someone to go over that and see if there are any problems with that. It doesn't matter if the site looks good. What matters is if your copy sells.

Thirdly, how have you been marketing your product? Are you using PPC or articles or video? What are you doing? You need to get massive targeted traffic going to your offer. Anyway that's my two cents. Hope it helps.

UPDATE: I just read your sales letter and you really need to find someone who can write a professional one for you. Your headline and sub-headline (yawn) do nothing for me. Not to mention none of your letter convinces me to want to buy your product.

Though many people can probably relate with the story you tell, it's not exciting. Nothing in that letter grabs me and makes me want to grab my credit card and buy. This is your problem - your sales copy. So either hire a pro copywriter or learn how to do it yourself the right way.

The main thing you need to do is shift your focus. Stop worrying about "how to make sales NOW" and instead focus on helping people solve their problems (in your case, lack of traffic). Zig Ziglar said it best: You can have anything you want if you help enough people get what theywant.

Focus on helping people, truly care about them and their problems, and you'll be a success.

In the meantime, if cash flow is an issue, get a part time job or, if that's an issue, search Google for part time cash. There are literally hundreds of ways to raise cash, both online and off.

      Well my suggestion is..

Stop working on IM for now..since you say you are out of funds..

Go to Odesk, Freelancer, Elance, make your profile, start bidding on jobs. It will take some time to get the first job, but who knows maybe you will get it in the first hour! Bid low since you are new.

Get a job, finish it, start making money, repeat the process

Now you will get jobs faster since you have ratings and feedback

I agree with Zannix, he doesn't have to get a job.

You need to focus on one website first or service and get that profitable.

      Just one thing!

Learning everything you can about how to do that one thing successfully.

I think you are one step away from success.

That's likely not enough. Is that what they teach in Bring the Fresh? Most of those links are very low level and usually get deleted. I bet you could get your sites to rank if you did a more versatile backlink strategy like writing artices, press releases, blog commenting, web2.0 properties and so on.

Well they teach you on page optimization, and than for backlinks they recommended me to buy that list and create backlinks.

    You have two problems:

    1. Traffic.

    2. Conversions.

Let's break the problems down. For simplicity sake, lets focus on the first one.

Let's break down how you get free traffic from the SE's:

    A. Good on site SEO - a tight group of keywords, with the keywords in the H1 tag, description, in the URL, meta tag keywords, Page Title, and sprinkled throughout your content, which should be unique and high quality.

    B. Good off site SEO - backlinking from a variety of sources. Forums, Web 2.0, Social Media, Video sites, Article sites, blog posting and commenting, social bookmarks, RSS feeds...see the variety here?

So, those are the two requirements. Now, analyze what you have done - according to your own words, you have only built forum backlinks. That isn't enough - you need to add way more backlinks in way more places, from high PR to low PR, do-follow AND no-follow. (People say no-follow is worthless, I disagree, but that is a different topic)

See what I did? I took your problem of no sales and no traffic and broke it down into parts.

I followed the trail until I found the problem - I then provided a solution to that problem.

Now, do you have the patience to try?

SEO is time consuming. You may think you are getting free traffic - but "free" is never "free". You pay for it, with your time. Which is something you cannot earn, get more of, or get refunded to you.

So I recommend you work at this until you make money - and then begin to leverage that money to speed up the process. But this does require time investment and patience. I would say at least 2 months of manual SEO work before you start seeing traffic.

    Ok?

    You can do it.

That's for sure, it's like watching grass grow... you're working and working at it and you might see a little movement or your site gets stalled or goes into some google dance, but you have to keep the commitment up and eventually you come out on top.

Most people just quit after the first few weeks when they don't get to #1 but the truth is it rarely happens that you can get to #1 in a short amount of time unless you totally luck out.

Okay.... Mr fail! Why an earth do you have fail as the bottom of your signature?

I read your post and all that stood out were the words can't and never.

    Not very positive....

If you want to run a business, regardless of whether it's internet marketing or something else you need to change your mindset and FAST!

People buy from those they like and trust. Those they connect with. Those they are attracted to (not necessarily looks wise, how attractive they are online, their terminology, their attitude etc.) And you seriously have the wrong attitude.

Before you do anything you need focus and have positive energy.

I'm sorry you've had a hard time so far and haven't made any money yet and have spent money. I sympathise honestly, I've heard it so many times and it's very common. You are not alone.

The internet marketing niche is very hard, most people fail. Will you be another statistic that fails or will you succeed? Only you can choose this path.

Okay, so now let's get focused.

What do you want and what do you need? Do you need money now? If that's the case get a job, either a part time one or full time. Because however amazing you are at what you do, you will NOT make money (and I'm talking $2000 a month+) fast in internet marketing. It just doesn't work like that. Anyone who tells you they can is lying or was incredibly lucky, trust me it's very rare. Most internet marketers take a few months before they see a large amount of money and it tends to grow and grow each month, it doesn't happen overnight.

Now, just because you need to work now and earn an income doesn't mean you can't still continue with internet marketing - but what it does mean is you have to be prepared for a lot of hard work. When you've finished your day job you will have to work on your online business in the evenings/weekends. If you're happy to do this then I would continue....

If you do decide to set up an online business I would recommend you go back to basics. I would start off as an affiliate as that's easier.

Find a product that you like and believe in. That has a good conversion rate, an excellent affiliate back office, the creators are contactable and helpful.

Start driving traffic, only work on one or two traffic techniques and master them. It will take time but you will get there - only if you really want to, are dedicated, disciplined and passionate about what you do.

I wish you the very best of luck with what you do, remember you are not a failure and you will succeed if you truly want to.

I saw in your about me section you have said "fail".

Don't have such a negative attitude. For what its worth, I would also suggest to get out of the house more often.

As everybody here is saying, IM is not a get rich quick scheme. So have patience. I know it must be hard if this is your only source of income and you have burned a lot of money on ebooks etc.

I gathered you are from Slovenia. So do you know any other languages besides English and Slovenian. Maybe you can offer translation services. Maybe you can offer to build websites for the schools in your area etc.

My point is if you are short of cash, do some work that will be interesting to you but is basically offline. Because it seems like you are obessed with IM (most of us on this forum are!!) and could be ignoring opportunities offline.

At least your trying to make money online. What I would do is carry on trying don't give up. But seriously get a job and focus on the internet in your spare time. Then when you are making as much money as you from work online, Then you can look into just living off the internet.

Your crazy to think you can just make $$$ Just like that.

Good luck and get a job

Not to sound coy, but you need to work on your presentation if you want to convince anyone to buy from you. Take some English classes.

Don't give up, you already have some marketable skills with graphic and web design, try out fiverr and let people aware of what you are willing to do for them for $5, it's a start to get the word out, and it's also a treasure trove to find out what people are doing with your similar skill set to make cash

You need the two D's to succeed in this industry.

Desire - The passion to make money Online.
Drive - The ability to work hard to make that passion become reality.

Unfortunately you only have the one D. Desire.

You want to succeed in your mind but you don't have the drive to make it happen. You know how I know? Because every time someone makes a suggestion in this thread you state you've already tried it and it doesn't work...

    You've already given up...

    What do you expect? Magic?

Why is it impossible for you to rank a website within the top 100 on Google?

You've probably spent an hour on here creating a thread and reading everyone responses... To which you've replied that you've already tried and failed with every method suggested...

My advice is either get a job or put more effort in. You're clearly giving up too easily because making money on Fiverr or getting a site to rank in Google isn't impossible like you seem to suggest it is. If it was, why can everyone else seem to do it?

It appears to me that you're sitting waiting for some sort of magic reply that is going to fill your pockets with money without having to put any work in... Unfortunately that isn't going to happen.

You need Drive. You need to be willing to work hard and not give up so easily. If that is too much for you. Then it's probably best if you get a job and stop wasting everyone's time who are suggesting methods in the post that do genuinely work.
