How many of you are in the MMO space?

Hey all!

So I was wondering, how many of you guys are in the MMO space such as affiliating another's product? If this sounds like you, mind if I ask a couple questions?

  • Do you feel that there is too much competition?
  • Do you find that Adsense CPC is too high and just skip it?
  • Do you run only 1 site? 2-5 sites? 10+ sites?
  • Do you write all of your content for yourself, or do you have others doing it?
  • Do you cover a single product, or do you cover multiple competing products (ie, do you advertise multiple ebook leveling guides).
  • If you do have multiple products you promote, do you stick with 1 product per website, or do you promote multiple competing products all in the same site?
  • If a new product came out in the MMO space that looked promising for an affiliate to promote, would you fire up the engines and then promote that?

    Every market has a decent amount of competition. If you are building your first site, build a site with a niche that is less competitive. The MMO niche has been competitive since back in the Diablo 2 days...

    If you want to promote an affiliate product for an MMO then I suggest you try to make your site as unique as possible. But again, if it is your first site, try a niche that is not as competitive. It also usually easier to sell Amazon, Ebay, or CPA products because clickbank products tend to be the most competitive.

    Hey Steve,

    I've made (and sold) a couple MMO ebook sites in the past, and am just releasing my first MMO eBook in a couple years. It seems the market has changed/filled out/matured a bit, so I'm really curious what current people think about it right now.

    I'm just launching a MMO eBook, but I launched a RTS one not too long ago, and have another MMO eBook coming in about a couple weeks. So yea, I'm really curious what mature people in the market think!!
