Need advice for credit repair guide

Hi to all,

I am working on a credit repair guide, my wife and I have a ministry and we work with couples who have been divorced, so there is already a niche established.

I know credit repair is frowned on by many people, due to all the scams and rip offs on the net, but my guide is DIY, and I have over 10 years experience and also was a loan officer 2 years, one of the few who did not write bad loans..lol..

My question is price point and wondering if anyone has tried this niche, and what success have you had?

Thanks,

Divorced with bad credit recovery guide?

You are probably aware that there are a bunch of ebooks published through Clickbank, these should give you an idea of the going price, bear in mind, some of these eBooks are under priced lead-ins to higher priced services. I just searched their marketplace for Credit and got 2,872 results.

ONCE UPON A TIME there was a Warrior named Bob. He was sad. And frustrated. You see, Warrior Bob spent every last nickel on Internet Marketing e-books. But nothing panned out. No traffic. No sales. He was one sad Bob. Then one day Bob found a bottle. He rubbed it and out came a Genie who granted him 3 wishes. For Wish #1 Bob asked for a pet Dragon. Wish Granted. For Wish #2, Bob wanted Warriors' websites seen by 53 million TV viewers, for under $5 per broadcast. The Genie said... (click here)

Don't forget you're playing with people's financial lives here. It's one thing to fill their heads with fantasies, it's quite another to make their life here on earth more of a misery than it already is.

Dude, why would anyone need to be qualified to ask the OP that question?

          Bill, you are spot on.
          .

To the OP, I would like to make 3 observations:

          (1)
Credit card companies have been exposed for granting credit cards to non credit worthy individuals, knowing they could never handle the huge interest and will quickly become slaves to the credit card company. It's really sad that credit card companies go after vulnerable people. (e.g. college students, who just became legal age to have a credit card, and don't need to get into the credit trap before they even graduate and apply for their first career job!)

          (2)
Most of the credit repair ebooks are re-writes/ripoffs of one another--same info has been rehashed over and over. The authors have zero experience with credit repair.

          (3)
Selling crap MRR/RR/PLR ebooks on credit repair is, as Bill mentions above, playing with people's financial lives, and giving them false hope can cause more misery than they currently have.

Now, I don't know whether or not the OP is qualified to be teaching on this subject matter. He may be a state licensed credit repair counselor, or ex executive management of one of the "Big 3" credit reporting agencies. Or he many have extensive firsthand experience in repairing his own credit. Or something else that qualifies him.

Thanks for the replies, I have over 10 years experience in credit repair, unlike the scam companies, I have Never sold any information, only helped friends, family and church members with there credit, I do not tell people not to pay their creditors, or to lie stating this is not mine tactics, besides that no longer works, credit bureau will spot this in a heart beat, and the letters from all the web sites no longer work as well, the credit bureau use OCR technology to scan all letters before initiating a dispute.

My purpose is not to get rich repairing people credit, I do Not offer credit repair, but my guide is for people who have had credit problems due to divorce, and are now trying to get back on track with there finances, the guide also covers, budgeting, finances, and how to build business credit as well.

There is a Huge amount of competition with the credit repair companies, not as much diy.

Thanks for the replies, and suggestions.
