This doesn't answer your question about the "best" place,
but the "cheapest" place is Fiverr.

ONCE UPON A TIME there was a Warrior named Bob. He was sad. And frustrated. You see, Warrior Bob spent every last nickel on Internet Marketing e-books. But nothing panned out. No traffic. No sales. He was one sad Bob. Then one day Bob found a bottle. He rubbed it and out came a Genie who granted him 3 wishes. For Wish #1 Bob asked for a pet Dragon. Wish Granted. For Wish #2, Bob wanted Warriors' websites seen by 53 million TV viewers, for under $5 per broadcast. The Genie said... (click here)

    Depends what you want.

If you want say backlinking I'd stay here and get someone from the "Warriors for hire".

Or if you want someone for data entry then I recommend Odesk. I'm currently hiring someone $13 per week to do just that for me

I also recommend oDesk. No place is the "best" - it takes some work to find the best providers yourself by asking for paid samples, interviewing them, putting them on trial periods etc before you make your final decision. There are lots of poor providers but many cheap, good quality providers there if you take your time to search.

Yeah, no place is the best. Personally I've used Fiverr for simple stuff.
If you want something more advanced made, like web-design or similar...I would go for Elance. Those are the ones that I've used the most.

Odesk can also be used, but that often requires much more explaining and guiding since most of the people there are from India/Pakistan/Bangladesh. Although, I've found som egolden nuggets there as well.

    Good Luck!

If you require expertise services in areas which do not fall under your core competency, then outsourcing will be a good option as you can get access to expertise services. For reducing costs and making faster deliverables, outsourcing is again a good option.

If you want to have a high skilled staff then you might want to check out DistantJob.com wherein we transformed standard outsourcing into a remote employment agency. Furthermore, we will help you on how to become an expert remote manager. The only way to achieve successful outsourcing is when you don't feel like you are outsourcing at all. Try us!

Hello KimNZ, if I may put my 2 cents in...

I think you need to be more specific and please add more detailed information about the tasks you want to be outsourced.

Actually, it depends on your budget. If you don't have that much budget or let's say you don't want to invest more in paying your employee, then you may try to look for someone abroad (Offshore outsourcing).

Philippines and India are 2 of the most popular countries when it comes to offshore outsourcing.

I thought of posting these sites which might be of help to you:

Fiverr is great but in many cases you get what you pay for.

Hi Ive used a number of them and for me its no much about the company but the people Ive had good and bad results from the same company. Its a case of checking out the actual writer, the quality of their work and making sure its written in good english and gramaticially correct. Don't always go for the cheapest either - Ive been there and paid the price in rubbish copy and time to re write it etc

I get a lot of work from vworker
and have outsourced several jobs to others there too.
You get better quality workers more often as well.

    Hi Kim,

I would always suggest to have an outsourcing firm rather than a freelancer. It has a lot of advantages compare to a freelancer. Communication and files confidentiality are great examples of the these.

  • It also depends really what you mean by 'place'. Does it mean 'physical location' or does it mean 'web site'.

Personally, for 'physical location' I've always found the most cost-effective use of my money working with workers from the UK, US or similar countries. Not the cheapest, but the most cost-effective.

I have had some good design and graphic work done in other countries though, particularly where the language barrier isn't an issue.
