Facebook Page - 2100 Likes but no Sale

Hi,
i have a facebook page about Cats with 2100 likes. I posted an affiliate link from amazon to a niche related product. But it only got 90 visits and no sale.
I tried it again with an another product but the same happend. Only got some comments if this really would be a community about cats or an advertising community.

So i'm a little bit confused and dont know what to do in this situation.
Any suggestions ?

The chances of someone buying the first time they see something is slim to none, most people have to see a sales pitch three times. It also helps if the pitch doesn't seem like a sales pitch. People love to buy, they just hate being sold to.

My advice would be to put up a pre-sell page. Load up the pre-sell page with highly valuable content, then towards the end, provide a link to the sales page.

    Hi,

It sounds like you are making too much of a sales pitch and not enough value to pique interest. If you have a domain, use that to build credibility with unique and valuable content related to your topic (not to any specific product). Then link your Facebook page, ideally to a set of hub sites that link back to your website. It sounds complicated, but this system does work. Blatant selling gets under people's skin pretty fast and believe it or not, they are more likely to purchase a product if they don't feel like they've been given a sales pitch.

There are much more reasons maybe influenced this results that I'm sure you didn't expect.

When you try to attract a generic term such as cats or dogs or anything else; it's really become much more difficult to get sales because a lot of people doesn't mean a lot sales or even made a single sale.

You must get targeted customers that focus to buy what you offer not because you targeted a generic terms.

For example, people that type cats probably search for cat names, or cats cradle, cats protection or anything related to cats; but it's rarely that this kind of potential visitor probably purchase what do you offer.

Concentrate in potential visitors that are interesting in your offer.

I hope this help you open your mind for making sales

Good Luck for you and other warriors

Its a targeted audience to this niche. I searched for some sites which are related with the niche cats. Then i searched for the demographics of the website and made an Facebook Page advert for my page. So it should be targeted or not ?

How much time your advert is in facebook and did you see the analyst of your potential clients? + I think it's better to integrate your website to Facebook by using Iframe.

The ad stayed for about 4 days. As alexa said the typical visitor of a website which are related to the cat niche is 35 to 54 years old or what do you mean with "analyst of your potential clients"?

In the Facebook advert there is information related to your visitors, where they came from, where they live, how old are they, there interesting and much more.

From the information that you get from the facebook advert data, you can create a focus audience advert, please allow Up to 7 days to more analyzing the performance of your campaign very accurately

So the problem is the direct link to the product ?
The better way to do this would be Facebook Page -> Website/Page with niche related content -> Product ?

This is the way to promote any web site via a FB fan page. Sometimes these fans joined by a FB likes service. These traffics have less conversions.

I created an ad for my page so i didn't bought any fans.
I'm a little bit uninspired what i could write or provide on the squeeze page between FB Page and Offer.

2'100 likes can be useless if those people are from the Philippines/India, because usually people from those places don't buy as much online as people from USA/UK etc.

As others above suggested, create a landing page for that product, and redirect the traffic there. If people don't buy, you must have done something wrong, so it would be better to restart your campaign.

      Only people from the US.
But i think there is a problem. I searched for a niche related problem. Maybe a Catfont is a good product to promote. After i choosed the product i should build a landing page. But what could i provide on this landing page which animates the visitor to click on the link to buy the product ? At this point i'm without any imagination....

my guess is you got a lot of people who just like cats and feel like liking your page because they like cats..

Just looked at the statistics again and the ad which is running is audience relevant.
They are 35-54 years old and mostly (95%) woman. So i got the relevant group already at my page.
So problem i have is, that i dont know what to provide them on the squeeze page. I dont have any idea what to deliver there...

If you don't have it already, install an Iframe on your facebook fan page and in it give away a free e-book (something about cats that offers value) with an opt-in form to get the free e-book.
Inside the e-book, at the end have links to the products that you promote.

Facebook likes do not translate into sales.

A more direct route for sales is to have the people optin to your email list from your facebook page.

Maybe they just liked whatever you had to say about cats and they don't want to buy anything. And lots of folks do not want to see posts or adverts to buy things when they go on Facebook.

Some do, but I suspect mostly they go on there to find people who like the same things they do.
