When to bump a WSO...

Warriors,

When seems to be the most cost effective time to bump a WSO from your own experience?

Hope to here your opinion.

  • There are so many different opinions to this.

My best method seems to be to vary the time of day (so as to hit different international audiences) and to also not bump too often (as WSOs still make sales when they're a few pages down, particularly if you're promoting the WSO in other ways).

Anoter factor is that I only bump it when I can be personally there to monitor it for a couple of hours. So, that means I don't do many late night UK bumps (early evening US time).

The exception, of course, is the odd time when I have a super hot review, and I'll bump it soon as I can to keep the momentum.

I'm a fan of Friday afternoons (US time). I like to send emails out at that time, too. I don't know if it that folks are milling around looking for something to do at that time, or what, but it seems to be a good time for me.

It really depends, I would not ever bump until sales really come to a standstill.

You also need to look at what you're offering and how well it was selling; if you sold a ton of copies the whole time you were on page 1 and then it dwindled chances are a ton more people missed it and interested.

If you only sold a few copies then maybe the interested buyers already got it and you should wait at least a week for more fresh people to be around.

      Bump it on a Wednesday.

      Because Wednesday is bump day.

When there are 3,000 + people viewing the WSO section. That seems to be a good time to bump or post a WSO.

I bump every one of my threads as soon as they hit page 3. Which is about once a day per thread. I have been doing that for a year now and am absolutely astounded by the results.

I generally only bump once , then continue to market via my blog, forum sigs etc until it's ready to go live as a full fledged product.

There might be a lot to said for bumping old wso's after 8 weeks or so but I've not tested it, you could be marketing to a new audience,

I hope Matt doesn't mind me chiming in, but I'm sure his sales are pretty consistent, especially since he's primarily offering services instead of products in his WSOs.

I've been using WSO Eye (free in the War room from theemperor) and I really like it, but you need to take time to study best times to bump, for example the higher the ratio, the better to bump a WSO. But even if the ratio is high it's not necessary the best time to bump (typically ratios are very high in the middle of the night US time).

Even if there are 3000+ Warriors in the WSO section, there may be 100+ WSO bumps in the last three hours (ratio 2-3), but in a few hours there may still be 3000+ Warriors in the WSO section, but there were only 20 bumps in the last 3 hours (ratio 30).

Just yesterday I thought it was a great time to bump, but the ratio was only 2, in a few hours there was the same amount of viewers but the ratio jumped to 22, so I bumped my WSO . That way my WSO stays longer on page one and two.

Do this continually until your WSO stops being profitable for 3 straight bumps. Even if you're just breaking even, remember this: you are adding subscribers to your list for free.

So DEFINITELY have an opt-in form on that downoad page!

      why do you use e-junkie?

why don't you use just 2checkout or clickbank directly?

There are so many different thoughts on this.
Best day. Best time of day. Best hour.
I may be in the minority on this but I think there really is no perfect time for any WSO.
This Monday at 9PM will get you 5 sales but next Monday at 9PM will get you 15,while the Monday after will get you zero.

I've read so many different answers to this and I still don't know the right one. I've tried all sorts of times with varying degree of success.

One time that seemed to have the most success was "NOW" bump it straight back up to the top and keep rolling, if you can cover the $40 each bump then there is no best time, just profit time.

Well...the first thing you should consider is if you have at least broken even yet. If you have and it is a page or two in...then bump it. On the other hand if sales are still pouring in, just ride it out
