Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum and I am new to online marketing. I am looking for a way to make around $3000 a month doing something that is concrete and not time consuming. I am open to suggestions and willing to learn.

All positive feedback is greatly appreciated

  • Hi Boss1,

The real way to make money online is to build an email list. Getting traffic to your website can be a challenge if you are new. When you build a list of targeted buyers in a certain niche, you can email your list with new products and offers and make money on demand. You must provide HIGH QUALITY CONTENT though if you want long term success. There are tons of crappy get rich quick products and systems out there, but really the only way to be successful is to build a list. Check out my friends Paul Counts and Jeff Wellman as they specialize in teaching people how to make money online. Also go to ericstips.com and sign up. Promoting affiliate products on Clickbank is a good place to start. Just be sure to pick a top quality product to promote. Also, choose a product that doesn't have a ton of people selling it.

Consistency is the key to building an income of $3000 a month...and I would advise setting aside at least a couple of hours each day to build this income...especially if you want to build it fast!

Hey Boss welcome to the forum.

First things first...$3,000 per month is a lot of money for someone brand new to IM. There are thousands of people on this forum making that much, but they didn't do it overnight.

To get to $3,000 per month "that is concrete and not time consuming" is going to be difficult without spending time on your business. The only way I can see you making $3,000 in profit per month without spending a lot of time is by paying for traffic.

I've found that in this business when you are starting out, you either make more money through investing your time or your money.

Do you have money to spend on advertising, or are you trying to do this without spending a lot of money?

As AJ previously mentioned, building an email list is one of the cornerstones to building passive income. To build a list, you have to have traffic coming to your sites. If you have a lot of traffic coming to your sites, some people will sign up for your email list, and you can start sending offers to your list.

Learn how to get traffic to your sites! Either you are going to pay for the traffic, or you are going to go the free route. If you go the free route, expect to spend a lot of time on your business.

Learning how to get traffic to your sites is one of the most important principles of internet marketing.

Hmmm... 3000 a month might be a tall order for a newbie, at least for the start. U need to spend some time to find ur niche and work on creating ur High quality eproduct. If u are looking into advertising and affiliate programs to start with, u may want to check out the following site with free IM resources:

    IM Foundation

    Cheers!

Going from $0 to $3000 online isn't easy squeezie but it can be done. You made a great first step by getting on this forum. I would recommend reading through a lot of the posts, especially the one about "What to do if you're desperate" While you may not be desperate, there is still a lot of good stuff in there. Read the stickies and you will find links to other great posts as well that should help you formulate a plan. After you have your plan TAKE ACTION! I think that taking action is the number one hardest thing for newbies.

    Good luck!

One of the best ways to get to $3000 relatively fast is to offer a service such as web design, freelance writing, or backlinking. This will provide you with the income you need to begin your IM career. This can also give you some knowledge on different aspects of IM.

ya agree with this but it takes time to run a service even if you outsource everything..
I m service provider and i can surely say you can make instant money as you come up with good offer, but that run in long run, when you actually deliver results..here people know you from your work and contribution you do in thier respective business..

You need to try and learn the basics and want to do it for more than just the money honestly. It's a lot of work and really time consuming to get those kinds of numbers but if you are willing to put in the time and effort to produce good quality material then you will meet your goal just fine.

    Hi Boss1,

Respectfully there needs to be a dose of reality here.

What can you do offline that brings in 3k a month and isn't time consuming and you don't need any experience?

    Not much.

Why from a standing start do you think that's so easy to do online?

I mean, if I could just say "Here, do this, it's concrete, takes minutes and you'll get 3k a month" why would people ever work in the offline world, wouldn't everyone be doing that?

Online or offline you are running a business and the people that get that, are the people that do rather well. Those that think this is an easy way to live the good life and make lots of moolah but don't do much for it, tend to fail.

I'm not being rude but this is about marketing products on the internet, there are hundreds of ways to do this. So from a standing start it will be time consuming to get to 3k a month.

What it boils down to, is how much you want to achieve something.

You do realise, don't you, that to get to 3k a month with Fiverr, the OP would need to do 600 gigs a month.

I think that may come under the banner of "Time consuming"?

    Hello!

I am a newbie myself and set my faith into going with Adsense. As opposed to many I will strive to set up quality sites and become and authority in a chosen field.

There has been a lot of debate whether or not to set up multiple MFN sites or alternatively go for investing time and effort into establishing one big site. For me the later appears to be an approach that allows to solely focus on ONE area only and not spread myself all over the place.

As it seems, people are seeing good success with this. So this is where I will be heading.

    Good luck to you!

      Damon,

Just an honest word of advice, commendable as it is to get out there and take action just remember that old saying though - "Don't put all your eggs in one basket", at least have some kind of back up in case something happens to your only asset.

The best course I've seen for newbies and the best value, as it's free, is the Challenge by Ed Dale (Challenge. co - not .com)

That gives you a good insight into keyword research, finding a profitable niche, creating a website and so on. It's good because you can follow along at your own pace and have a fully functional site up by the end.

It's not perfect but there's lots of information for no money.

    Hi Boss1,

Just remember that patience is key with internet marketing. You might not be able to make $3000 per month right off the bat, but just stick with it and you'll eventually get there. Once you find out what works, just rinse & repeat.

    Good luck to you!

When we came into the storage yard, Sergeant Bitterroot told everyone to hit the shade.
    Sweetpea—the only nickname I’d caught—said, Seriously, Sarge?
It’s how we roll, Sergeant Bitterroot said.
A group huzzah, followed by a few guys calling out, You’re the bomb!
I’m down with that, Sarge, I thought, though of course as a replacement I hadn’t earned the right to say so yet. Still, I dropped my pack with the others and was about to express my appreciation, when Bitterroot singled me out.

I have to agree with a lot of the comments here...there is no quick fix to making money on the internet.
You've got to learn the skill of online marketing. When you learn how to market properly (build a list, give value, form relationships), the money will come.
Many professionals who have trained and studies for years dont earn as much as many internet marketers can, so you have to invest some time learning how to market online.
If you acquire this skill, you can apply it to any area on the internet.

Find a community of internet marketers that provides coaching and training, where you can learn these skills.

Only piece of advice I can give is, you're not going to begin making $3000/month doing something that isn't very time consuming. It's actually the total opposite. Starting out, you invest 2 - 3 times the number of hours you would at a normal job to make $3000. Once you get to know what you're doing, then the hours you put in for the same money start going down.

Making $3000 a month isn't easy. You have to take effort to get what you want. You should also invest time. Start by creating a website or a blog with what niche that interest you. There you can promote your product.

Anyone new to this whole marketing this is not going to make $3000 straight off the bat.

It takes hard work, time, dedication and practise to get it right.

Be realistic and set goals. Make it a fact to make $1000 a month, then $2k and then $3k and so on and so forth.
