I am new to making money online. I was wondering who out there is making money?

I am looking for anyone to give me some advice on the best way to get started? I am looking for something real. I have been down the ol' blogspot blog thing. I am past that.

Is it really possible for me earn good money online? I have some money to invest. Not a crazy amount but, some.

Just looking for some guidance on programs, sites, affiliates, what to do vs. not to do, etc....Any mentors around?

Thanks for the help guys...

If you haven't made any money, then, I suggest you Google "The 30 days challenge" by Ed Dale. It's free, don't worry. It will teach you the basics that will help you start the ball rolling...

It's definitely possible, you need to be able to take action (which it sounds like you already have). Offering services such as writing, graphics, backlinking is the easiest way to get some cash flow going.

Other than that start experimenting with SEO. Yes you should "learn" about SEO by researching etc... but the only way to really figure it out is just to get out there and start doing it. Make a whole bunch of mistakes, get a bunch of sites in and out of the rankings etc...

I'd recommend affiliate marketing as it's fairly easy/cheap to get started and can show you some fairly quick results if you stick with it. As for affiliates - Amazon.com is great, do some searching around the board and you'll find some excellent resources on amazon aff marketing, adsense is also a good way to make a passive income but I wouldn't combine the two!

Yes, its possible. I believe that for people who haven't started earning money, you should try the adsense route first. It doesn't require list building, copywriting, or paid traffic. Just write the articles and do SEO.

Are you a newbie who wants to kickstart your sales ASAP?
Do you have a killer product but lack the cash to hire a top-notch copywriter to help you rake in the profits you deserve?

I agree. I published a step by step article "How To Make Money Online For Free" on one of my blogs, mainly aimed at newbies with no startup funds, but the willingness to learn.

As you said, it was based around Adsense and Amazon Associates, but the cost reductions were using free non self hosting blogging, such as Blogger.

Earning potentials aren't great, but it's a good training ground if you have no expendable cash to fork out for Hosting, Domains, Auto responders etc.

With some SEO and article Traffic Generation, you may be able to build enough regular income to ramp up the business.

The EASIEST way I have found is to offer a service. I write content, but if that's not your thing, then you could do SEO, Backlinking, posting ads, the list is endless. If you want to learn affiliate marketing then Ed Dale's The Challenge is an excellent place to start.

I first started making money with Google Adsense. My very first site made a whopping $40 in two weeks! I was excited.

Then I discovered affiliate marketing. Instead of promoting digital products I promoted physical ones. Signed up with Amazon, SaS, and CJ merchants. Promoted high heels to women on a website.

Then I discovered list-building. The big light bulb went off when I realized that I could simply get people (mostly women) to sign up for my list to get discount codes (coupons) and free shipping for (you guessed it) those high heels!

Then I started to wash, rinse and repeat. Action figures, Lingerie, Halloween Costumes, Justin Beiber posters (?), and many more niches, products, and topics.

Today I have many sites that do the exact same thing in different niches. With my knowledge I gained from setting up each and everyone of them from scratch I know provide info products on what I did. I also provide services and build sites to flip!

The sky is the limit when it comes to this. You can promote just about anything on the internet and make a commission. You can also find problems, build solutions and sell them for a premium and make sales!

Is it easy? Hell no. Is it rewarding? I would say so.

My advice to you? Put your money back in your pockets and use the search function on this website. It goes back years and on top of that there is a massive archive at your disposal and it doesn't cost a single dime.

Just read and read and read. Read until you find something that peaks your interest and then read more about that method or technique. And then, when you have a good grasp of that idea, invest.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

There are lots of ways to make money online, but they are not for everyone. Different people are going to excel in different areas. Just spend a lot of time reading forums and blogs to get an idea of which route appeals most to you. Personally my strategy is to setup affiliates sites for various niches. As I build up traffic and income I expand my network to more niches and more sites.

I believed many of the IMers are making money but might not be BIG money, especially for a start. There are lots to learn in IM and lots to experience it and take action to refine it.

For a start, find your niche market and GO for it!

    Cheers!

and my advice would be to pick 1 system and take action, follow that through until completion before hopping all over the place into various other offers and systems.

Sometimes theres too much information, WSO, this system that system etc and you get overloaded. Pick one, take action, learn from mistakes, rinse repeat.

    Good luck my friend

If you're done with blogs, you might also want to start learning Affiliate Marketing and getting some websites. This is an easy way for you and easy to understand. It's good for a start. To make it short, you just need to have a website and advertise some products over the internet. You'll get paid through commissions for every product you sold thorough your advertisement. Or you can also get commissions for every visitor by just clicking on your banner(s).

I first started out selling other people's products. I used click bank as my primary source and created a website specific to whatever niche I was working with. Most importantly, I didn't take on to many things at one time, because that will land you on the road to no where fast! Pick a product, get you a domain for that product (I started with a .info because they were inexpensive and still get the job done when marketed right), use word press to begin helping you market that product. Ask some people will they be willing to mentor you. This is one very important thing that helped me cut the hard knocks road in half.
