Using YouTube Channel to make money?

Hey warriors!

I've had this YouTube channel for about 3 years I guess, it's not big or anything. I make easy to follow PC how-to videos and I enjoy very much =)

So it would be great if I could start making some cash of it, but how do I do? How do I start?

Like I said it's nothing to big or anything, but if you want to see it here it is(Not meant as advertising, just need some help/feedback):

Yes, I have links on almost every video, I think I have adf.ly on a few of them, but I feel like they are annoying to my viewers and they will stop watching if every link is adf.ly.
    What do you think?

Not a youtube 'channel', but I do have a couple Youtube vids that I put up 'just for fun' several years ago and they got 'big enough' (traffic-wise) for Google to approach me about running Ads on them, and I said o.k. (but we're talking literally just $5 a month or so in ad revenue).

I can't post links here yet but if you do a search for "Hot Toy Batmobile' on Youtube, and look for username BatmanBatmobile09, you'll see them.

The ads running on them (I've noticed) have nothing to do with the content. I get more $ from the Amazon affiliate link I placed in the vid.

      Just my $.02

How much did you get from Amazon affiliate links?

    @Random101 -

Est. no more than $5 per month. But I'm not doing it 'right' because the link is just a redirect to an Amazon page (my amazon affiliate code embedded in it). If I was going to do it right, I'd put a contest in the text below the video ('win a free batmobile0, get a list going, and then promote batmobile-related products to the list. Ah, someday....

Why not watermark the videos (with the URL of your blog) and use them as teaser to direct people to the "full version" of your how-to's listed on your blog? That way you can freely advertise and test out a number of different formats.

We have affiliates who create their tutorials as an e-book and use a content-lock gateway to monetize them.

That's a good idea, now I need to create a blog then =)

But the only thing is my videos shows everything, so why should they visit my blog?

Well, from here on out, just create 2 part videos. In the 1st part, explain what you are going to do and why you should or need to do it and then the 2nd video is where you'd actually show them the method. This is what would be on your blog

That's not a bad idea at all! But it needs to be something important, so they want to visit my blog/website, right?

But what kind of videos, do you think off?

that is a great idea for the 2 part videos.
in order to make money on YouTube you must have a good number of views. and if say if you just uploaded a video on youtube, most people tend not to click on the videos with only little amount of views, and they do not even show up on the search results sometimes. I offer a great service for getting rid of that problem and it has help many people out before I put this on Warroir Forum. check out my sig link.

I think youtube pays you the higher number of video views and subscriber you have, but I've heard its nothing to write home about

yes 2 days ago I just started to test my service on one of my product review videos and I only had 60 views on it. now I have over 330 views. the more views you video has the higher it will be ranked, and the more subscribers you have as well.
